Tarboro vs Pender 4th round

Tarboro played arguably their best game of the season against Warren county. They'll have to do it again against a physical Pender team. Pender has a big bruising full back that has over 2,300 yards rushing on the year. Should be a good one. A few people on highschoolot.com think Pender has a great shot

They have an offense, but did they decide to field a defense this year. That Pender-Hobbton game last year was one of the most comical games I ever watched. I think they will score some points, but I just don't see them making it a game or winning at Tarboro.

He’s a big boy. I’m sure it’s not fun trying to tackle him in 40 degree weather - with that said I think Tarboro should win this one by multiple scores but I don’t think Pender will be a pushover like the last two opponents.

Wished that we could be at this one next week, this is going to be a great game. Pender is fast on offense, but I think Tarboro defense is locked in after watching that game against Warren County.

I will believe it when I see it. A few comments on the Warren Co. game said the Eagles could keep it interesting early on but looks like their doors were blown off early and often and they never had a chance. This Vikings team looks like it is on a mission and is 100% focused. More than likely another blow out and Pender goes home after getting whipped.

I hope you’re right. I’m sure pender is going to look to control the clock. If we can go up multiple scores early, I like our chances

No chance… Tarboro by 21 plus, although Pender is a decent team.

I’d say a a score similar to their game with Whiteville this year.

I know I’ll get a lot of heat but it’s whatever. All the kids can do is show up and play ball. Hope for an injury free game by both teams!!

If pender wins I doubt it will be a shootout. I can’t see Tarboros defense giving up 48 points to a running team. I don’t think there will be enough possessions unless you’re thinking pender will break a bunch of long runs.

Pender scored 12 points in 2021. I think Tarboros defense is better this year than it was that year. That’s a big jump to go from 12 to 48…

I respect your opinion. I do think however IF Pender wins it'll be a lower scoring game. With the way both teams run the ball I can't see either team getting a lot of possessions. As cold as it'll be Friday I don't think you'll see much passing

I’m not mad at you, I understand your love for your team. You guys have had a really good year. I actually think this game will be closer than most just because of the low number of possessions, but I think the Vikings win in the end

WRH has a pretty good defense and the Pender kid still had 200 yards the game we played them. Game was a lot closer than score indicated. Coaching is what cost them.

Tarboro looked fabulous and played great in that all Gold uniform. They should wear it again vs Pender. What will Tarboro might wear this week?
