The answer is yes. Their ends make the D go. I have not seen Tarboro this year, but in years past your DL is what makes your Defense go as well. I am just saying that if the two ends do not make the plays they normally make and wreak havoc as they have to others, Tarboro Wins! I know Coach Craddock will have his scheme and his young men well prepared!

On the defensive side for Corvian, athleticism without discipline will not be enough. I would argue their athleticism could work against them if they are not extremely disciplined.
Great point! Tarboro just beat Wilson Prep which had plenty of athletes. Several folks have brought the athleticism of corvian and pointed to their basketball run, but the team that beat them was Wilson Prep, so let it be known Wilson Prep had plenty of athletes. With that said, what we did against Wilson Prep doesn’t matter come Saturday, we’ve got to bring it or we will be going home runner up again, but I do believe the Vikings are up for the challenge
Will they stop it, no. I do think they will slow it down compared to the 50 some point you guys have been seeing every week, yes. I have not seen Corvianto be undisciplined though. I would say they have listened to their coach and maintain poise in the games I have seen, given that has been limited. I think if they played Mount Airy of last year, they lose about the same amount as Tarboro last year. I think this Tarboro team is better than last year, that's why I think Tarboro wins. I don't expect the there to be a large margin of victory. Some bad plays, fumble or turnovers, Corvian could win. I give Tarboro the edge, but honestly do expect this to be battle and a good game to watch. I am looking forward to seeing more than the 2A or 4A games. 3A should be interesting as well. I think Monroe wins by a good margin and Grimsley should win. College playoffs and NC high school playoff all day Saturday should be a great weekend.
A MA team that wasn't close to last years team had a chance to tie the game and fumbled. Tarb if better win by 28
