SWO vs North Lenoir Updates

Congrats to the Stallions. Great job. Hope you guys win every game you play in the rest of the season. Glad the SWO faithful is easing up on their young coach. Just give him a chance to put his stamp on the program and you guys will be ok. Like I said in the very beginning of the year.

Feel good about the team heading into conference, even though I pick on Jacksonville high school fans we are actually in the same position. Beating Northside in just out of the question this year, and E Duplin I think we can play with them, but beating them ummm, but the advantage SWO has this year is 2a east is weak (depending on Clinton being 2aa).

Could get interesting come playoff time. As long as no let up against Croatan we should be 6-4. Losing to ED, Northside, Clinton and Jacksonville aint bad considering we prolly will not see any of them in 2a, and I can't see anybody in little 2a beating any of those teams.

Most important games left are against ED and Croatan. Beating E Duplin puts us right back in convo for possible trip back to state title (just think ED is a better team), a loss to Croatan and I have to ask what good team did we beat.

Congrats to Dempsey and staff, I thought it would take 3yrs to get to this point. SWO is relevant again!

I like the wing T a lot. The passing game is coming along nicely.

I will tell you what. Your kids can beat Notthside. That game was lopsided take away 14 of the luckiest points you ever want to see. The 5 minute thing our kids gave them the game turning the ball over on the 9 yard line. If the Stallions take the momentum that you guys have been building the past few weeks and ride on into your conference play you will be able to play with East Duplin and Northside. Call me crazy but I will say it right now SWO will make it to at least the second round of the playoffs this year. If they beat Northside and East Duplin... and as long as my Cards are still not playing I will watch SWO play in the state title game with my SWO shirt and hat on but you better believe I will have my Cardinal draws and shocks on underneath.

Stop their QB do not give him time to throw to those big receivers. Run that wing T like ol PHIL himself is on the sidelines SWO will be successful against Notthside. If you guys don't put any pressure on the QB yes could be a long night.

I think Northside might be too talented for us offensively and although we are not small, Northside defense is okay.

Now E Duplin because they want to pound the ball will give us a real chance because the score should be low. We have improved on offense, but have beaten some really bad teams also. The best thing in beating those bad teams up was iy shows we are not a bad team also. Like I said Jacksonville and SWO are similar in that they are okay. If Jacksonville beats W Craven then look out, if SWO beats ED then look out (saw ED play WRH and they are good). Northside is no Havelock but for SWO they are just out of our league this year.
