SWO Football broadcast World Wide again this year !!

I didnt see any activity on WJCV.com all winter and fall. I was afraid there would be no more broadcasts. I got ahold of Melvin Bland at the station he assured me they would be on the air 23 August vs Jacksonville for the first game of the year. Melvin and Billy Woodward are great play by play with years of data and stats on SWO. If you havnt tuned in it will be a treat. I echo their broadcast here most every game. Its a hoot trying to keep up with them as they get more excited than the crowd of Fans. Games at the Corral are really hard with with all the Stallions fans yelling and screaming around them in the press box. Away games are easier as the home stands are usually pretty quite except for the oohs, ahhs, and gasps as My Stallions lay the wood.

I have the upmost respect for the Dark Horses. Over the years we've had some great games. You have pounded us and we have stomped you. For quite a few years
SWO and Clinton ruled the 2A. Good luck this year and I will be pullin for you in MOST games unless of course we meet or it benefits us for you to lose. Programs like ours only profit from being in the same conference and playing each other.

Great to hear some fellow broadcasters will be back at it again. This will be my 15th year (OMG) that’s crazy to think about. Ron’s 19th year. Best of luck this year SWO, and if you ever need a break tune in to check out the horses, maybe our teams will meet in playoffs.

I did once last year when the Stallions didnt play that night. Ya;ll do a great job and IF we do meet in the playoffs I would catch 1/2 of each broadcast. Its interesting to hear the "other side" comments about your team. Of course there is NEVER any bias from either side of broadcasters .....

Most it's harder to win a State Championship in 2A than in 1A but not always. And it certainly isn't as next level as people make it out to be. There are more good teams in 2A but there's not much difference in the teams at the top.
