I really hope Shelby goes 2A west with Reidsville please tell your "inside" source to make that happen for us

Thanks bro...I know how the games played with us old time posters...Lol I was subtly speaking on behalf of the newcomers that can't handle the pressure as such...preciate the words about my boy though he's been put into a situation that hasn't faired well(on the books) with most and I comend him for how he's handled it to date...you guys go finish it in the BIG and we'll surely try and do the same in the LITTLE...just to note....my suppression over all this is only for the sake of him at the moment....lol
Chill, bruh, no need to waste anymore energy on this topic. Nothing is official, but 2AA sounds like a definite for Shelby. If both teams stay healthy and focused, I see a Reidsville vs Lincolnton showdown on down the road with the winner facing Northeastern in the state championship.

The Clinton people keep saying they're gonna run all over ya'll with their 245 lb running back and the other two and they can throw if they want to but dont. They said ya'll wont' stop their offense and that their defense is designed to stop the spread. They say they have your number this year.
All that said ya'll might lose to EL, Maiden, or Monroe before you reach there. 2AA looks tough this year, not weak like previous years.
As for beating 3A schools, this is one of those rare seasons 3A as a whole seems to be weaker than 2A as a whole. Doesn't happen often.

Don't know how much stock I'd put in these until they get the teams right. Every prediction I've seen has teams with incorrect records. The end result may be right, but the participants aren't, at least as far as their seeding. This one included.
Not many attempts made to block him and those weren't successful. I like that he moves around a lot and is not a sitting target.

agreed. its all in fun. i would call Shelby the favorites with Clinton a close second. my East Duplin team is only a contender at this point.
Clinton can throw the ball when they need to. I've seen it with my own two eyes! The only question would be if they got behind and needed to rely solely on the pass game.
All I know is....you better be glad Wallace-Rose Hill is not in your divisions. I put this bunch up against ANY team in the state of North Carolina outside of the large 4 big and small schools, but even in 4A big or small, Wallace Rose would lay the hammer on the overwhelmingly majority of them. Against the top 5 in these divisions? No. Simply to much depth for the top 5 schools in Division 4 big and small. Year in and year out, they are nasty. Now.......with all of the above written, Clinton just beat Wallace Rose Hill by 2 TD's, so I know the Dark Horses are for real. WRH has beat Clinton 7 of the last 10 years. When it's a year in which Clinton beats them, then look out. This means Clinton has a solid state title potential appearing team.
Finally, regarding Shelby. Why would anybody talk smack against this bunch? I mean.....EVER? Other than Crest High who is larger and has smashed em up pretty good year in and year out with each school getting some W's over one another, why on Earth would anybody or any team on the level of Shelby or on a lower level poke the beast? Is Shelby not the most successful program in NC history by wins? The answer is yes. They are the 26th most winning program in the United States. Never, ever, ever.....ever ever poke the beast, especially come playoff time when Shelby is playing teams on its own level. Almost always, when you talk smack about them, by the odds......statistically speaking.....you lose.

That is the same ADM link as last week from what I can tell. Shelby is still on the border of going 2AA or 2A.
Concerning why Shelby gets compared to all these 2A schools... because they are a 2A school... and will be for at least 4 more years.
Wherever we go, Coach Ware & company will have boys prepared.

Shelby is officially 2AA. North Surry will be our first round opponent, then it's East Lincoln in the second round. Damn a link, my son plays, his word is credible enough. Good luck to all in the playoffs.

Ive been around long enough to see Coach Allen, Coach Taylor. Coach Norman and Coach Ware, they all have been great, but Coach Ware had brought so much more to Shelby,
We are up to the times with play, new uniforms, the schools look.
Also a extra class for kids that grades need comming up, a tutor helps. These are alot of why hes special.
But having a 3 peat is just unreal.
