Talk about inflation and gouging.......tickets will be FIFTEEN DOLLARS.....last year Ten Dollars.....that's a mighty big jump in 1 year......might not affect some of our more well of football fans......but that's a real hardship on a family considering attending......also don't they charge for parking as well?? Nice going NCHSAA....................

Typical.

What a joke the NCHSAA has become just look at how they seeded the playoffs now this ,all they care about is money and I don't believe there doing one thing to incurage more kids to come out for football just look at how much the number of kids coming out for football the last few years have dropped off ,but at the same time they are encourageing kids to play soccer.

Soccer (association football) is for boys.

American Football is for men.

Rugby Football is for warriors.

I don't think they celebrate Champions that well either, and monetarily. Big cost to be champions

Games still televised? With 5 ppl, gas, parking, food talking $150 at least. I support my Rams if they were collecting it all maybe we go but now we have a decision to make. May be someone’s Christmas present haha. Go Rams!

Seen this 1 coming when the reg final was 10. NCHSAA is becoming nothing but a joke!

I went to Allen (Texas) in 2014 for the Dutch Fork game. Their standard general admission is $10. Valdosta (GA) fir a regular season game.

SC title games were $12 last week.

I think students should be able to buy one ticket fir $5 at their school. Have a student gate for each school fir those tickets. No issue with $15 fir an adult if they would do the student ticket at $5. If not, $10 to $12 should be sufficient.

Channel 48 in Greensboro market is showing games Friday and Saturday. Channels 22 and 28 in Raleigh market are listing one game Friday and five games Saturday with a possible sixth in the night slot that currently shows tba.

Perhaps more details will be announced today at press conferences. Of course this is no replacement to actually being there if your team is playing.

During the press conference, they sent 1,000 presale tickets home with each of the 16 participating schools. Those tickets are to be sold for $14.

Put on a NC State Football hat, neon vest, and put an ear piece in and you can walk wherever you want to at Carter-Finley. Just say you are late for guest services, ask for Barry.

Reidsville students have been out all week so those tickets may not even get sold. We have no idea when they may go back to school

What affiliate are these channels?

Four strikes against the games drawing many more than the die-hard fans.

1.
50-50 chance of rain (Raleigh forecast as of Wednesday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61. Chance of precipitation is 50%.)

2. Highest ticket prices ever (plus $10 for parking)

3. Game on TV

4. Raleigh traffic on a Saturday 10 days before Christmas.

The NCHSAA is a money hungry, money grabbing organization.

For traffic, coming from the west, I don’t take I-40 unless I know it is clear sailing for sure. I use US 421 South Around Greensboro. Take it to US 64 in Siler City and then come on into Raleigh via US 1. It adds a few minutes, but the drive causes WAY fewer gray hairs. Most of us used this route when we headed to Pinetops for the SWE game.

Or you could do the same for I-85.

Even if North Davidson isn’t in school tomorrow, I would expect them to have the tickets on sale. The front office is open and it isn’t like they have that much else to do other than sell tickets and answer phones on a day like that. They sent the tickets home in a box of goodies that they got this morning at Carter Finley Stadium.

rambbq, good luck to your Rams!

Figured that after tickets were $10 Friday...that was a shock...I thought she was mistaken

Since it might be raining will umbrella's be allowed at Carter Finely. It's not like a NC State game and a huge crowd. There might be 10,000 in that big ole place.

I don’t think they’ll let them in. From what I understand, it will be the exact same rules as if the Wolfpack were playing. I’m coming loaded with ponchos for my crew. There are some of the upper rows in the lower bowl that are under the upper deck that would work if you need a dry place.

I am told it will be the rules that the school's hosting the games have.

On the NCHSAA page they may have some facts on that.

No umbrellas at NC State. I have seen fights break out at high school football games over umbrellas. It does not work in a crowd.

Main page for the title games.

https://www.nchsaa.org/sports/football

NC State prohibited items list. There is one for Duke and UNC.

9/10 people holding umbrellas at ball games are buttholes. I like the rule, even though we could all leave 10 seats between us and still not cover all the empty space in carter Finley stadium.

Well damn!

There is plenty of room. I say allow umbrellas but not between the 30 yard lines. If you want to use umbrella spread out past the 30s.

Well, I thought about going to the Tarboro game until u saw the price. And now I learn that you can't have umbrellas? Well no thank you. I do have a large umbrella, and won't think about the view of somene behind me when I paid just as much as they did. Their tickets didnt come with special privileges. So if you can't see, just move. But since I cant have my umbrella, I refuse to pay $15 to stand in the rain.
