South Columbus @ Fairmont

Looks like it's gonna be a wet soggy field. No rain on the forecast but a full day of rain the day before.

Is South Columbus healthy?

Was told there was injuries....Is there any truth to this?
Don't know of any injuries except qb Gore. He was injured in the South Rob game & has been out since. Adjustments were made & SC has been playing great since, with the exception of the the Fairmont game. They are playing with a lot of heart & determination right now. They've got a chance if defense attacks early.

Thanks thunder. Glad you mentioned something. It wasnt a credible source that it came from, but I thought I would ask you guys.

QB Gore ......is he the starting QB? Hope he will be ok.

I believe the ground should be very , drained, dry and ready for football come tomorrow. As for the Air conditions.....I will be wearing 3 layers of some sort of protection, mittens, hat, and a neck gator.

All you SC fans have been nothing but awesome. I cant wait to see what the game may turn out to be. With the primary QB out and secondary in, seems as if his actions has been nothing but superb. This will be a chance for him to take his team to a higher bracket and this will also be the chance for Fairmont their ability to beat an elite highly improved team.

I'll be there. Hopefully be enjoying a hot sub from Fairmont Pizza & Subs first, though. :)

On a side note, A win by SC and EB means another clash between these two teams in the playoffs. We had some great battles throughout the years. Good luck to both teams.
May be in the same conf. the next realignment

I was told the sophomore QB that SC has now started as QB in the 5th game after SC went 0-4 to start the season. They have gone 7-1 since then only losing to Fairmont. They told me the other QB broke his leg during game 6 playing defense somehow and he should recover and be able to play basketball or baseball (can't remember which one they said) He was a good athlete and I hope he gets well.

Does anyone know if the game is going to be broadcasted on TV? Gonna be a toss up if I can make it or not.

Thinking about going down to Fairmont unless I attend the SR/PS bsktball game. Would like to keep supporting the local teams. Then with coach Heil running the show would like to see them win. Saw Fairmont at the 7-on-7 and a scrimmage at Scotland back in the Summer and I realized then Fairmont had a good team.

You're making perfect sense. You have for the most important part and obligation to support basketball and support and/or watch the playoffs of the only team that is left in Robeson County. It's tough decision but whatever you do will be appreciated on either end. My opinion is that Fairmont started very rough as I was in the picture observing but they matured and have been playing Team Ball, not individual.

Hope to see you, god willing Tiger.

Well the temp outside will play the biggest part....Lol. But will diffently be waiting to see Fairmont during bsktball season. Some of those football athletes will be taking the hardwood as well and probably be making a East Reg. run again.

LOL
That will be our biggest opponent to night. You are very correct! I am going to wrap up. I will be out there with the players as they come out with the team Flag and other flags, plus the smoke effect. I had plan to make a Tornado effect go up through smoke but do not have the necessary equipment to make it happen....just something for fun. Other than that I will be sitting with the A/C on the bleachers....50yrd line.

Very true. As you know this is my first year but I know all about them in basketball.

I know it's hard to beat a good team twice beat as long as Fairmont is healthy they should be able to pull off a victory for a second time.

It never has been unless you are talking about a small segment of News Channel 13. I havent heard anything
The Columbus Co Sports Network usually broadcasts Col Co games live and on TV. Spoke with them and they aren't allowed to do playoff games which is weird. WTAB radio will be broadcasting live thought. Go Stallions!!!

I never saw this game in my imagination the way it turned out. I am glad there was no injuries in this game. I noticed that SC has a lot of support. It show out in the field after the game. SC is a great team, just need some adjustments. Hope to see more of what SC is known for. Always have been a great program.

I been shouting that ever since the brackets were formed....your 1st sentence of course.

Congrats to Fairmont, they are a very complete team. Wishing the Tornadoes the very best in their playoff run. Don't see any reason why they shouldn't give any team they face a great game. Congrats on the Stallions for not hanging their heads after an 0-4 start this year, seniors refused to let this team lay down. You guys laid the foundation for future South Columbus teams. Good luck and God bless to all our seniors, you will forever be Stallions!!
