SMC scores?

HC 21, Swain 7, half.
Hard to hang with a team that has 5 D1-level recruits, including guys that have already committed to Georgia and Southern Cal. But win or lose, you only get better playing this level of talent... and they haven't been blown out yet.

Interesting scores. Been outta the loop for a while. I'm hoping someone can clear up what these scores tell us about the SMC this year? Thanks.
Cherokee 28-19 half, this is probably the worst officiating I've ever seen on both sides of the ball, refs randomly stopping the game every other play and tons of missed and bad calls on both teams

Swain will not see this level of team speed, quickness, and strength in an opponent again this year, period. HC was quick last year, but they were not nearly as big and disciplined. And the Devils are playing 9 people both ways.
The Devils actually looked better this year than they have the last few openers, though. Assuming they stay healthy, they aren't going to be easy for anybody. Very few schools in WNC would have given Hapeville Charter much trouble.

If anyone recalls, last year all the SMC teams won on opening night !! Not starting out good this year. It will be ok though, got a lot of football to play
Hmm I put more stock in the SMC tonight than I should have lol. I'm guessing Rville lost more from last year than some wanted to admit.
I'm hoping the dogs come ready to play in hendo tomorrow. Place should be packed with no other game going on.
very surprised by this... is Towns that improved or Hayesville not as good as expected?
