No, its time for Ware to sit the backup down and explain the use of the playmakers. I would spend the whole week, every week breaking down the three levels of the field. To get to the western title game and go to a run game could be disastrous with Lincolnton's defense if they get there.

If you are asking me about Lincolnton then yes mostly but they can pass out of it unlike most teams.
Guys.....we don't run a wing T offense....we switched to the spread this year and still some power-I down the stretch....and yes we can throw down the field...
He was trying to be funny as always. The wing-t comment was for me. And to answer his attempt at humor, no we shouldn't go back to that offense, but if Truck is the QB then we need to tailor the game plan to his strengths imo, which would be more running.
Shelbys QB won't recover from that angle injury until after the season. If he tries and play on it he will do more damage. My son played MLB for reidsville last year in his junior year against lincolnton he suffered a high ankle sprain in the 4th qtr. That following week preparing for Shelby he had the best treatment possible. Therapy, electro shock treatment. Message therapy you name it we did it. Thank god for double medical coverage.lol Well in the game against Shelby around the 1st qtr he jumped a batted down a screen play and came down on it and that was it, in desperation in went in on offense made one cut move and fell to the ground and and to hop off with assistance never to return that night. Took him to the hospital and he had more damage done to his foot now he had to wear a cast and crutches. Instead of taking a month to recover it took him 2 months to recover and 2 week of mobility therapy. I can't tell you how many combines and training camps we missed in January and February and half of March because of it.

In the Shelby Star today Coach Ware said Lee was at practice and they were working him back slowly. Did not rule out playing this Friday night.
The Carver band will make the Shelby game the most entertaining between the two.

Sp refs, I can't be around that stadium. 2012 Statesville was fortunate to beat both sp and the refs. Not going thru that again. Also I'm intrigued by Crest and Shelby. I wanna see personally how good these teams are instead of hearing about them for their fans

Shake off the rust? Damn they won 62-0 last week and it was over after the first quarter.
Had several guys out for most of the season returning this week. The radio broadcast sounded like there was a lot of rust. Sounds like our QB came back too soon and that we are breaking records with penalty yardage.
