Anytime a decent Fayettville area team plays Richmond or Scotland, Earl is always a homer. You can't be like that as a sports writer. I've felt like this since the 2008 state championship game.

Gave a good article on the Scot and Britt game. Fair reporter. Has 95% picked Richmond to win on his picks in the past.
Britt has the ball 4th and 10 at Richmonds 38 yard line with 11 seconds left..... This is a great game
Just heard Scotland goes down tonight to North Davidson 47-42. I hate to hear that.. Such a great season for the Scots. Hate to see it end like that.
I don't hate any team. These are just kids playing the sport we all love. Scotland has been nothing but class all year. They were great ambassadors of the conference.
I understand what you're saying, but I would rather them win it all in their playoff bracket because it validates how strong our conference is at the top, compared to all of the other cupcake conferences across the state.
Reagan beat ND badly this year and now upset Scotland. That blows my mind. I begininng to wonder if Richmond and Scotland are not that good or other teams are improving quite a bit. I think it is a bit of both sides. I am shocked that Scotland gave up more points to ND than Richmond.
After all the S%%%t talking about how good SC people thought they were, it was such a great feeling to see them not win, I'm sorry!!

I don't cry.........I don't even pull for Scotland or Richmond at all. In fact, I pull most teams in Western Regional and Triad teams wherever they fall in. You on other hand is a sorry example of being a fan. I have much respect for Scotland Fans after tonight game. They show tremendous respect to ND and show a lot of CLASS.
