Well we gave #1 all they wanted. We led 14-11 with 1:40 to go in 1Q…. And that final 101 seconds, Weddington went on a 11-0 run to close the quarter out. Dug us a hole we couldn’t fully get out of. Got it down to 6 late In the 4th, just ran out of time and had to start fouling. Weddington is good, they play very similar to Alexander Central, and that surprised me. They really slow the pace down and play very good defense.

But, that being said, I cannot complain. This was a championship level of a successful season. Going into this season, there isn’t a soul in NC that saw us being a top 15 team. We finished 21-4… that’s more wins than the last 4 or 5 seasons COMBINED. We have a JV team coming up that went 17-1-1, and a coach that likely will win COY. Special special season
