Reidsville Rams are loading up!

Great!

Now could you please answer my original question and list the years you claim a "WNCAA State Title" and list the teams Shelby beat in the playoffs to claim those titles??

What is it you are ashamed to show?

Mule-
You are so frustrating. It is all CLEARLY on the website for everyone to see.
shelbyhighfootball.com Perhaps that small effort is too difficult for you. Here it is. Then we want all your pre 1971 playoff games to championships posted here. You don't show that on your website.
1968
Shelby 21 Marion 0
Shelby 41 Chase 20
Shelby 32 Thomasville 12
1970
Shelby 43 R-S Central 14
Shelby 34 Alexander Cent. 6
Shelby 13 Salisbury 7
1972
Shelby 17 South Point 7
Shelby 27 Lenoir 12
Shelby 26 Mooresville 21
1975
Shelby 45 Alexander Cent. 8
Shelby 29 Chase 7
Shelby 21 N. Davidson 21
1976
Shelby 13 Chase 0
Shelby 27 Hudson 7
Shelby 25 Lexington 0

Satisfied? Or is this some attempt at a trap. We hope so. Now return the favor in this useless exercise.

Wait!

You claim a "Title" in 1947 equal to a NCHSAA State Championship simply by TYING for a conference championship?? And not winning a single playoff game? And you claim winning a CONFERENCE playoff system is equal to a NCHSAA State Championship?

That is nothing more that gross fraudulent misrepresentation of the lowest order.
And you want to disparage real State Championships Reidsville won in the 1930s and 1940s and 1950s. What a bad joke.

Winning a conference championship is a noteworthy accomplishment for any team. But claiming that is the same as winning a State Championship is ludicrous. If that is the standard for measuring accomplishment, Shelby will never match the Reidsville record for excellence.

Maybe we should retitle Mr. Hagwood's book " The Football Capital of North Carolina - The Real True Dynasty- The History of Reidsville Football".

Shelby is a great football program with a storied history of accomplishment. You do nothing but tarnish that history with your ludicrous claims and continously trashing other football programs.

My offer still stands to buy you a copy of that great publication.

There was more than one conference in WNCHSAA. I would contend that either the NCHSAA and WNCHSAA both had state championships, or neither did. If neither, then there were no state champs during the WNCHSAA years and the state association records should reflect that. We count 1964 as a state championship in Thomasville and, I believe, rightfully so.
At Thomasville, we too are proud of our tradition. But we have played Reidsville and Shelby over the years and didn't fare particularly well. There are many other programs that have a right to be proud of their football tradition. But for any one program to claim superiority over all others is a joke. Especially if it came as a result of legislative edict.

Mule-
Is that all you got?
And you keep getting corrected by others. Hilarious.
Now. Do your part and post here your pre 1971 playoff games to championships as you asked us and we provided to you.
Or, in your words, what is it you are ashamed to show?

Mule-
Crickets.

You are so weak. You admonish us to post stats and so we do and then ask you to do the same, and what do we get?
Crickets.
You can dish it out, but you can't take it
What's that? Shelby just scored again on Reidsville?
That makes it Shelby 73-Reidsville 10 in our last 2 meetings.
We bet that has not made it into your bogus book.
Still waiting.....

Who does Reidsville play non conference??

I haven't seen the schedule but I'm pretty sure it is

1. Mcmicheal
2.Rockingham county
3.Eden morehead
4. High point Andrews
5. Northern Guilford
6. North west Guilford

Gotta play the county teams. Northwest is supposed to be really good this year

Talking about the past is nice but as Reidsville fans we need to figure what we can do to win number 19, havent won anything of significance in a long time. And if we cant go undefeated through our regular season schedule this year we will not be good enough to beat Shelby and eventually win the state title.

Mule-
So now your minions trot out to cover for you. Typical.
Your playoff format and game results to your Stone Age titles must be too embarrassing for you to post here.
How many schools were even in your Division B? It looks like you played the same handful of teams over and over again.
Some competition.
Come on Mule. Give us the playoff wins to championships from the pre 1971 years.
Or what is it you don't want readers to see?

Back to the future: Reidsville should be strong this year with the returning talent and some newcomers. Often forgotten, but not because it isn't important, is the kicking game. Reidsville should be solid in those areas with Brad Green in his fourth year as place-kicker and Alex Abel punting. Green recently won a kicking camp competition at Duke with a 50-yard FG.

Okay Mule.
Game over.
'98 State Champion 7
Mule 0 Final

Mule forfeits due to failure to show up.
(Did we mention 31 consecutive recent years a no-show?)
Happy 4th (straight)

If there is a weaker conference in the state somebody list it. Carrboro, Cummings and Graham are either closing or eliminating football and BY has always struggled. Jordan Matthews has had a few good years but this conference will not prepare Reidsville for the playoffs. Somehow the coaching staff will have to deal with this. Some of those teams may be forfeiting by the end of the year. I don't know if todays athlete can change gears from playing against air to going up against teams that are in the hunt. While this is not Reidsvilles fault game number 13 could be the first real game of the year.

I know you guys can't control it but that conference is pathetic. Gonna be even uglier if the other scools fold or Carrboro can't field a team.

Northwest Guilford, Northern Guilford and High Point Andrews are real games for sure. And Morehead was a play away from making it to the championship game last November. Agree that conference is pitiful.

Should have said that conference is pitiful for football. Carrboro among best in state in many sports.

True. But most a bottom feeders in other sports other than Carrboro. Five teams in a conference, four conference games. The NCHSAA blew that conference realignment.
