What was memorable about it lol? Reidsville won 28- 6 and it could have been worse.
ok I had the wrong year... there was another year where Reidsville won by 1(or 2).
NC had hte ball last I think. The game went down to the wire.
That's the game I thought you were referring to. 2001 I believe kicker missed PAT.
I am having a hard time trying to recall what game you are referring to here. And I have seen every game Reidsville vs. Newton Conover.
Maybe you are thinking of the game where Reidsville stripped the ball and scored late to win?

I was thinking of a different game. NC lost in the State Championship on a missed PAT not sure who they were playing.
I found it for you Beamer.....it was 2000 when SW Onslow beat Newton-Conover 14-13 in the title game...the only other runner-up for Newton-Conover was 2009 when they lost to Reidsville 28-6......The infamous "Miracle in the Mud" at Reidsville was in the 3rd round of the playoffs...Reidsville winning over N-C 30-29...................Hope this helps you sleep...lol......
