NW Guilford has a couple big receivers Hennigan, Turner, and Cloud. #7 Thomas Hennigan is on a different level and is only a Junior. Last season he finished the year with over 100 catches over 1200 yards I think it was 15 TD and 3 or 4 Rushing TDs. He also threw for a couple TDs and also had 3 Ints on defense. He really does everything for the Vikings. If he has a big game the Vikings win. If Reidsville can slow him down they win.Reidsville has a similar issue at Qb,where we play 2 guys. I'm not sure if this will happen Friday or not. The thing that concerns me most is that we have a small secondary to your big wide outs. I think it should be a pretty good game.
Not sure? Which #2? For NW or Reidsville? What happened to #2?
What do you think is wrong with Reidsville? I know the injuries have hurtMaybe the R team can watch some games on TV this weekend (since it will be raining)..and learn a little something about football such as rules, etc.....................wes overby
Funny....We think the same thing at NW. I wish we would just settle on either Jake Smith or Caleb Homol. Seems like the team really struggles to get in a good rhythm. We went through the same thing last year when Rolfes was trying to put Jake Smith ahead of Caleb Homol's older brother Josh Homol. Once he settled on Josh he went off and almost led us to a conference championship. We came up short against a really loaded East Forsyth team. Looks like all roads lead to East Forsyth again this year.Just a young team Warhead. I think the coaching hasn't been the greatest, I wish they would settle on a QB.
True, In my opinion NW could easily be undefeated. NW should have beat Northern but we all know the story when the Vikings play the NighthawksReidsville's three losses were to some pretty good teams -- High Point Andrews, Northern and Northwest are combined 12-4.
Rams are starting a bunch of young players and have the least speed of any RHS team I can remember. They've been hurt on offense by penalties and dropped passes. Defense hasn't played that bad - two of Northwest TDs tonight were short drives after interceptions.
But maybe they will get it turned around in time for conference play with Graham coming to town this Friday to begin the league season.
If that's the case the Captains and team leaders need to step it up. The Coaches can't do but so much. Why are rams fans surprised. They look like this in practice all the time. No intensity at all. Practices look nothing like they use to. I guess that time has come and gone. Hopefully the intensity will return back to Reidsville football or changes need to be made.
As fans we don't care who it needs to be but it needs to be done nowIf that's the case the Captains and team leaders need to step it up. The Coaches can't do but so much.
This team is nowhere near as Physical and Strong as the Joe Woodruff Coached teams that ran the Wing T. This NW team is very young too this season. NW use to be a lineup and punch you in the mouth team and now NW is more finesse. I think this spread air raid system can work at NW but its going to take several years in it to get really good at running it....but the Vikings get to drop a loss so going into Conference play we're 5-0 so you couldn't for much better.NW didn't look like the NW we use to see. Not as physical or deep as they use to be
No football iqAs fans we don't care who it needs to be but it needs to be done now
Sometimes that's easier said than done.As fans we don't care who it needs to be but it needs to be done now
If they're 12-15 yards off the line the coaches must have expected something else. Hindsight is always 20/20Still don't understand why our DB.'s at times play 12 to 15 yds. off the line of scrimmage....NW TD to take the lead in the 2nd half came about because of the way we were lined up defensively (that and a great catch by the WR)????
