So, do you think it's being coached or kids just not doing their job and misaligned?

Sir my head is not in the clouds and I can't believe you said that as long as u have known me. You coach kids to line up on their side of the ball. A coach can't go out there and move him like is allowed for 7-9 year olds. A player knows he's down when his knee touches the ground. He's been coached this all his life. So why dive for a kickoff? These are not babies on the field. They've played this game for many years. Yes we need to settle on a quarterback. But these guys are old enough to think for themselves. When the word Peter is yelled on a punt what are you coached to do? Get out of the way of the ball, not try to pick up a bouncing ball.
The team needs to stick together though. Because we can still win conference. Defense played well, we need to figure something out offensively. I think first things first and that's pick a qb, I thought we had picked a Qb after the Northern game. If #3 is healthy enough I'd like to see him get some carries again

BTW congrats on the win...hope NW has a banner year..Had female cousins that graduated from there in the mid 60's when it was still a small country school surrounded by tobacco fields....My, my how times have changed......lol........................
NW is definitely down this year. I see them 4th maybe 5th in their conference. Can't put them above Glen, EF. It'll be interesting seeing them against SW and Ragsdale.
Reidsville could be out by round 2 if they're placed in the west. I could name 8 2a schools west that more than likely would win at Reidsville comfortably right now

Scored 3 , then 10, got 2weeks to score 14. This is reidsville and we can't score. But I guess we going up so that's something to look forward to. Conf ship still possible something to play for then let's see what happens. Congrats to NW Good luck rest of way Rams!
No way you put SW and Ragsdale over NW....Glenn maybe but they have really struggled on defense. HPC was just blown out by 40 some points and are really struggling. I think the conference still comes down to East Forsyth and NW. I think East Forsyth is by far the best team in the Conference
HP Central has no chance of beating EF right now and they are playing them next Friday. EF has the weekend off and they are gearing up for the conference. Now things can change in a week and the players are only 15 to 18 yrs old. Anything can happen with those kids. Glenn does not have defense to speak of and SW Guilford is still down but better than Ragsdale. Right now EF will win the Conference and NWG should wrap up 2 place......It will be hard for me to see HPC in 3rd.... I think it will go down between Glenn and HPC while SWG sneaking in? Ragsdale got the cellar wrap up as of now.
Hey Reidsville has a great long run.....it may be in a down cycle for time being and the kids on Reidsville has to start all over again. Those cycle DO happen! Now one of you posters are right, Reidsville is in very weak conference and nothing you guys can do about it. It is a good thing you guys play Northern, NW Guilford, HP Andrews....that will help you to improve your weakness for playoff run. I just don't see Reidsville going far. You guys might be better off going east this year because I think west is LOADED.

I saw them play Page and they are loaded with talent. The sad part is they don't have near the talent that Charlotte Mallard Creek has....
yep......THOSE CHARLOTTE teams will control 4AA and 4A I think. If Dudley right the ship, they could compete with CC and Vance. EF team is fun to watch and Beal is something else. I enjoy watching him play and he make some moves that should be on espn HS highlight at times.
Let's remember we lost to northern and northwest the past three years and we're still playing after we had our thanksgiving dinner ...so we will be fine ...competition only makes you better in the long run...

The Head Coach at Reidsville apparently believes that Loyality to an individual player or his family is more important than Loyality to the team.
Rams still have talent. Maybe a little short on senior leadership. And maybe the wide receivers are not particularly the best around. But there is great potential among the underclassmen. Whether the coaches can develop that talent remains to be seen.
What is most disappointing is when the coaches don't realize that cornerbacks are playing 10+ yds off the line of scrimmage and backpedal when the ball is snapped and don't make adjustments, particularly when the coaching staff has been told many times about what is happening (Their response: "WE TEACH THEM TO PLAY 7 YDS OFF THE BALL".
Times like this make me wish I were still on the school board.

Why don't you go volunteer to coach those DBs. I bet you could teach them to play 7 yards off the ball and make plays....
Beal is INSANE! He could go to just about any ACC school he wants to go to yet he chose to stay local and committed to Wake Forest. Cool thing is we get to see Christian Beal play in Winston for another 5 years because the kid is only a Junior
We lack a true safety too. I think the kid they have playing safety is more of a corner, they could move #8 to safety since he is no longer playing olb.

I wouldn't be surprised. That Cummings game might be pretty tough, I think they are better than their record. All I said was the rams can still win conference.
I'm more worried about B-Y than Cummings. They finally have some administration support and is already inproved. B-Y is putting some points on the board, they are definitely a legitimate threat.
Yeah By too. I'm actually giving Cummings a slight lean on them though, we will see in the coming weeks.

IMO..B-Y will be more of a threat the next 2yrs. They`ve got 3 10th graders starting on varsity that could be all-state before they leave..a RB, OLB and WR. Cummings is much better than our record..I hope to see some wins these next couple of weeks!!
This may not be a down year, playoffs hasn't happened yet. And also, I expect the rams to be back to normal the next couple of years, this is a young team.
