Randolph scored 8 runs in the fifth inning which included a grand slam. Coach Reynolds left the same pitcher in until after the grand slam but Randolph gave up five runs to Cherryville in the third inning and didn't change pitchers. This was a good game and a fun game to be at except that I sat on those aluminum bleachers and now my neck and back and posterior feels like everybody in Randolph County has took turns stomping on me. For those of you who are young or in the middle, if you're told that wisdom comes with age don't believe it. I'm proof.
*Side note: How many Marshes plays on Randolph County's team ? answer: a lot ! Where do they all come from ?
Right now, I'm too tired to remember other scores in today's games which were double headers but Cherryville beat Wayne County, and Wayne County beat Randolph County. I think, these were pretty close games. Goodnight gentlemen.
