Richmond County has a player as good as Powell.
Paul McNeil headed to N.C. State. He's a 6-6 senior. Richmond made it to finals of 4-A last year.
Northwood lost to Central Cabarrus last year in the 3A State Championship game. They are 7-1 this year so far. Will be an interesting matchup against Richmond County.

Friends at the game (who are not Reidsville fans) said Reidsville was very tired in the second half.

McDowell (9-1) beats Patton (11-2) 66-58 to win McDowell Invitational
Davie beats East Davidson 83-36, winning the Ledford Christmas Tournament and improving their record to 11-0.
On X Coach Ross had the video where Neal stole the ball and scored. Found a link . It was a steal while the point guard was dribbling out the clock to take the final shot.
Neal stole the ball at mid court and drove to the basket with clock running out to win the game.

Steal came against the star player from Cannon. Neal is something special ... been less than a month since he made several huge plays in Reidsville's football championship run.

Mooresville play in the final of their tournament. They lost a tough one to Neumann Goretti 79-54 a #1 4A team from Pennsylvania.
Farmville Central continued its rebound from the Reidsville loss with a 77-62 win over Durham Jordan in the consolation fifth place game Saturday.
Cannon also bounced back after the Reidsville loss and beat Richmond County 84-68 in the third place game.
