In the end I guess it comes down to respect. Try as you might it is oblivious that bishop is not respected for their achievements. It is really sad for their players. They will always not be true champions in the minds of many. I know you will say it does not matter, but if it does not matter then why do you have to defend them so vocally?

As for Hayesville what advantages do you see them having?

On a side note, of those students you did/did not call out, which ones lead their team to a state title?

Again the whole purpose behind this poll is to take another cheap shot at Bishop. It was not titled "which streak was more impressive" it was titled "which one was less worthy". Big difference. If the poll was which streak was more impressive I may have even voted for Hayesville which would not in the least diminish what Bishop has done. There cerainly is no denial or guilt. Just another cheap shot at Bishop.

Now for the explanation:

Everyone on the boards understood BK had a typo- it should have read "which is more NOTE worthy." As in most things you completely missed the point. The way you understood the post a vote for Hayesville would be supporting bishop and you did not get that. Either way you blew it.

Yeah I had a typo on that one. I was just sick of listen to a couple of folks on here defending these type of schools over Public schools. Not the same and the titles they win are on a lower shelf to most. Why would they not be? Close to 85 percent think so and without the miss type it could of been more. Point made.

3daughters....Do you honestly think Bishop is playing on a level field compared to public, boundary schools? Surely as I mature adult you can realize the the playing field is not level...I have high admiration for your school and the girls who play basketball. They spend many hours preparing to play the game. However, the championships cannot compare to what the small community of Hayesville did in girls basketball. My point is not to run down what Bishop has done because they have won championships within the rules of NCHSAA.

Wow 3D, let me try to explain it again,perhaps have someone read this to you. You state this poll was to vote for the least impressive. That means either 1) you did not catch the typo or 2) if the meaning was as stated then a vote for Hayesville was a vote that bishop was more impressive. You believed it was 2, in essence you were arguing that Bishop was not more impressive because more people voted for HHS. Are you mad at yourself for taking a cheap shot at bishop?

3D, I have a friend who is a therapist and after hearing about some of your posts she suggest that you may suffer from little man syndrome. She mentioned some of your need to always be right, to claim to be the best, your defense mechanism of belittling others when you have made an error, the way you are jealous that another school may have had success and finally the way you try to dominate anyone who opposes you. Of course this is just a guess, nothing official, but you might want to check on it.

No the playing field is not level ! BUT it would not be right to kick these teams out until the NCHSAA comes up with a fair place to put them. That is not right to do that to their kids just as it is not right for the advantage they now have, Public schools work had every year to make the play offs and win a state title only to lose year after year to a team that has a huge advantage at getting players. Even if Bishop gets put in another conference I would like it if Mount Airy continued to play them as a non conference game. These to schools have a lot of respect for each other as does at least one of their posters. That I saw during football season this year. My hat is off to Dosso because he is the reason I have changed my attitude toward Bishop. 3D needs an attitude adjustment because he is the one giving Bishop a bad name. It is as though he on a guilt trip .

Ten years being in the sam conference with you photo and one thing is quite clear: when you win there is no problem, when you lose it is because it is unfair. Mt. Airy is the LAST fanbase that should complain and talk about "boundry" schools.

Actually photo when Bishop and Prep played this week I sat on the Bishop side for the girls game and on the Prep side for the boys game as several of my closest friends are parents of Prep players. Several of the Prep players look upon me as family since we have become so close over the years of playing AAU ball. When the Prep girls get their championship rings at Carmichael this year I will be right there rooting them on. Since they had such a hard time even getting their shoes this year i'll be the first to contribute to fund the rings...after all I've already had to pruchase seven of them. Since they have no seniors I'll have to help again next year as well so I get to look forward to several more years of your whining. lol
