Polk County to 1A, Chase Appeal Denied, 7 Classifications in 2025?

Eastern Randolph and Draughn are nearly the size of Reidsville.
Draughn is listed at 630 in 2020.
Eastern Randolph is listed at 671 but I have already told you that number is approximately 100 too high as of the last two years. I actually know this for a fact. But continue please with that bone you like chewing on about large schools. Until your teenagers beat a larger school, which they have done countless times before, then that’s ok…
Oh and Reidsville, in 2020, is at 723…

Wrong. But go ahead and tell us how small, and mountain land and how remote you are

SC has about half as many schools as NC, and their conferences, or regions as they call them, seem to change very little from year to year.

It’s not wrong. But convincing you of anything that is contrary to what you have decided is your “truth” is pointless as well as frustrating.
Keep tilting at those same windmills…
Convince me with proof not your opinion like always. I'll wait. You can find out enrollment very easy. Make sure it's not the adjusted numbers for free lunch please.

Nope. Done with you. Even when post numbers from NCHSAA site you say they are wrong because you say they are.
You post, from a time zone away according to you, about numbers at a school and community you apparently have never laid eyes on. That’s not an opinion? Appears to me even when presented with empirical evidence that is contrary to your “evidence” you, rather than accept facts, choose to “shout down” those facts rather than accept them. That mentality is, as I mentioned before, infuriating to me therefore I believe any further attempt by me to explain things to you would be futile.
And lastly I don’t understand at all why you have a problem feeding children that don’t have the means to feed themselves. Hate to break it to you but real country folks try to help those in need all they can.

Do you think it has anything to do with Chase football success?
They didn’t say so but it definitely didn’t help their case.

Polk would’ve been a better fit in the Western Highlands, but that conference just picked up the new Science and Math school in Morganton. Wish we could send them TJ but them and the Rutherford County public schools don’t get along.

Yeah the TJ vs Rutherford co. thing is like pissy little kids fighting 😂. I know a little about it but now the entire story….
I also assume that Chases football success didn’t help. I know moving to 2a has really impacted Polks sports as a whole

Piedmont was approved to drop from 4A Southern Carolina Conference to 3A and join the Rocky River 3A/2A with Forest Hills, Monroe, Parkwood, West Stanly, Anson County and Central Academy. Piedmont, Parkwood and Central Academy will be the 3A programs. Central doesn't have football anymore. They do compete in all the other sports.

That’s the biggest problem in nc right now. To many damn high schools.
It would be interesting to see what the attendance is for each of those schools divisions. People always say that South Carolina high school's athletics have better facilities. Well no wonder, they don't have near the amount of schools to fund. Granted, they have about half the population NC does too.

We should be upgrading the schools we got and not building new ones, Gaston Co. got like 14 high schools how the hell you going to have good sports with that many high schools

Yep. It would be much cheaper to add on to schools as opposed to making a new one. Makes no sense.
