The article was accurate. I went to the game, knowing nothing about East Rutherford and their past successes, didn’t know what to expect. I’m going to go out on a limb an say that East Rutherford also didn’t know what to expect. Oak Grove has played some really good teams this year, even with limited non-conference games available. If there is a better 2A baseball conference than the CCC from top to bottom, (minus Lexington, Thomasville and perhaps East Davidson, who had an off year) I’d like to see it.

I’m making the trip to Madison County tomorrow. I hear they have 3 kids batting over .400 .

I can’t wait to see what Oak Grove can put together for whatever is left of this season and for the seasons to come!
