Im a realist also and this crew has been getting it together since middle school. They have been coached for this moment for a long time. The work has been put in during the off season for the 10th 11th and 12th graders. I love those that like to speak on the past as if those players are still there. Those of us that really know the players knew that we did not have what it took the last couple of years but we know what we have now. 2012 go put on your lion gear. Shelby should consider themselves lucky. None of us on here are going to play a game so what we say does not matter. Speak to this group of players and you would know that they dont give a $%@+ about shelby or anyone else. The players of the past have graduated. If anyone beats this team I will tip my hat to them. And that includes NR if they can do it.I'm a realist..Reidsville caught a break win Shelby went 2AA and any Reidsville fan that says otherwise is lying, but we don't mAke the brackets so we will play the schedule
Shelby are 3x state champions in 2A so I doubt if they're trying to avoid anyone in 2AWho gives 2 you know what's about Shelby? They bussed kids in to jump to 2AA and avoid the real competition in 2A.
This thread is about Reidsville and North Rowan.
Yep. Thanks.Hey I'll admit it very surprised eastern put up 27. So I was wrong That what ya wanted to here thekidd12
The idea of bussing kids in for the sole purpose of going 2aa is the most ridiculous thing I've seen on here in a while. How stupid to even post that? Shelby would be and he favorite in all classes minus 4A and 4AA.
Actually #34 is more useful to us on defense then he is on offense we already had runningbacks but we was missing a linebacker. #34 also brings a lot of energy and emotions to the team. He's great vocal leaderThanks and it was considering expectations. Hopefully Rams keep winning.
Good luck rest of the way. Basketball starts for ER next week but I will keep up with Reidsville.
I guess if Rams end up winning it all ER can take credit for a big part in it.(#34)
Pulling for you guys.
I have been told that and glad he is playing a pivotal role. I like to joke about what ER's offense would have been like if he had stayed.Actually #34 is more useful to us on defense then he is on offense we already had runningbacks but we was missing a linebacker. #34 also brings a lot of energy and emotions to the team. Dude no dog here but it's Reidsville.
No I don't actually play, and my spelling game is lit.You got 60 plus pts hung over your head before the 3rd qrt was over and an exsit from the playoffs... So your opinion hold little no weight at this moment.
Went to maxpreps and looked at each team's schedule. Took awhile but I was bored and got tired of the chest beating lol@FBCap, from where did you pull that data?
The Reidsville them y'all beat the breaks off last year wasn't the same team from the beginning of the season. We lost 2 of our starting receivers and our main defensive lineman for the year. Those receivers also started on defense so that's five position gone. On the 2A level that's devastating. Everyone is healthy this year including those 2 receivers. that's why we look so much improved this year.Reidvilles vs Shelby isn't going to happen so let it go... It seams to me Reidvilles fans are truly sleeping on a Lincolnton team that came to Reidvilles and beat the breaks off them. This Lincolnton team is much more improved then last years team... So the real question is "How much has Reidvilles improved?" While you may have home field... You better realize the road to your title still goes through 28092. I wish you guys the best of luck Friday night. I'm looking forwards to Reidvilles/Lincolnton soon.
Is it ever possible they y'all just lose to a better team, or is it always injuries? That's all I ever here from you guys. Every team is banged up and have injuries at that point of the season. Lincolnton had a great offense last season, w/ a hell of a running back who no one stopped including Shelby. They were better than you guys, period, last season. Smh.The Reidsville them y'all beat the breaks off last year wasn't the same team from the beginning of the season. We lost 2 of our starting receivers and our main defensive lineman for the year. Whatever, everyone is banged up at this point of the season. Quit using that excuse. Like I mentioned earlier, if we could all go back to the past posts from you Reidsville guys since you've been in the west, you talked confidently just as you are this year, but when you lost, the injury excuse followed. You're so called healthy this year, so don't use the injury excuse in the event that y'all lose, just give the better team props. And, by the way, the running back for Lincolnton last season was Bo Jackson on the high school level. Their running back this year is nice, in addition to the D1 caliber talent they have in Surratt, Givens, and Littlejohn on offense. If what you say is an excuse vs reality, what would you be saying this Friday if Dax was out, your best offensive/defensive lineman, your best two receivers, who also play corner and safety weren't playing? That's exactly what we were facing. At that point, yes Lincolnton, Shelby and most other 2a teams were better than us.
You and every other Shelby poster along with Lincolnton and anyone else who wants to chime in and continue to tell everyone you have Bo Jackson and Ray Lewis sitting on bench or walking the halls, but Ill bet coaching staffs would be going nuts how to figure it out.
Were you on the visitor's side? I remember seeing a Thomasville jacket.I saw Reidsville play last night,I was very impressed with their overall team great size and speed and always well coached,Mt.Heritage was just way over matched from the start.with that being said I don't think NR will put up much resistance against this reidsville team they are just to Good, they will have to score 40 or more points just to have a chance, and I just don't see it happening not even half that...BTW This Reidsville team would absolutely give Shelby a very good run for their money
Maybe so but it would have been a better game if we didn't have so many injuries. Like it or not it do determine outcomes when you lose impact players. Why are you on this thread any way ? Why are y'all on everyone's thread ? Didn't 4A boys run y'all off from their thread talking nonsense. You don't see us on shelbys thread. We're not going to play y'all this year so no need of being on everyone thread. Shelby posters Are the bullies on ncpreps boards always on everyone else's board upset if no one is talking about them.Is it ever possible they y'all just lose to a better team, or is it always injuries? Now Stan. We work hard at that. Hot dogs are all beef. Pizza from Pizza Hut. Reidsville Lions Club splits the profit with the athletic department. For a team with so much rich tradition as Reidsville We have the worst concessions of any high school game I've been too and I've been going to Reidsville games for 20 years now. Hot Dog and greasy pizza are your only meat choices. Im having to sneak food in every game.
You talked the same way the previous seasons. There was never any mention of injuries leading to those games that y'all were beatdown in until after the fact. Y'all have amnesia. You guys did mention Raykin's bum ankle that one year, copping a plea and giving an excuse in advance, the 17-7 game. The guy asked what's the difference between this years reidsville team and last year and stan answered.. What's the big deal? L town would have won anyway if we were healthy, because we were just a pretty good team even when healthy.
Another difference between this year and last year was we didn't have many seniors last year maybe had 10 on the entire team.
Side story but I remember in 2001 Reidsville lost in the 1st round and the next year winning states, so a year can make a difference.
