North Rowan at Reidsville

North Rowan will probably be the most athletic team Rams have faced this year....I like Reidsville in this one but I'm thinking this will be closer than most of us Reidsville fans want it to be...................They are 11-2 while averaging 27.5 pts. per game and giving up 13 pts. per game...........
North Rowan is only the 2nd team besides Andrews that we have played that match up with us athlete for athlete. Not sure what kind of offense NR runs but if they are a passing team they will be way more of a threat than Andrews, who's offense consists of keeping the ball on the ground. With that being said I can't see North Rowan offensive line will be as good as Heritage Offensive line so I'm going with Reidsville 35 NR 17.
North Rowan will be the third best team Reidsville has played behind Andrews and NW Guilford. rams in a rout.
I saw North play East Davidson earlier in the year and NOT impressed at all. They beat East by 1 and despite their padded record playing not so good teams, East wasnt very good and have very few athletes.

Hertford county was scrappy and the perfect recipe(passing game) to beat the raiders. We took lead with 3 mins left but gave up a score with 45 seconds left to lose a heart breaker. Looking for our friends in Clinton to run the table in the east after getting shafted in Bunn last year.
These Rowan teams always show up to play better not under estimate some good football in that area
calpreps.com says Reidsville 31 North Rowan 21.....I think we will score more than that..............
This sounds about right. Kinda wish Reidsville would have been donated to the east for an exciting title game with Lincolnton.
I saw Reidsville play last night,I was very impressed with their overall team great size and speed and always well coached,Mt.Heritage was just way over matched from the start.with that being said I don't think NR will put up much resistance against this reidsville team they are just to Good,they will have to score 40 or more points just to have a chance,and I just don't see it happening not even half that...BTW This Reidsville team would absolutely give Shelby a very good run for their money
According to the Ram players Andrews was pretty good and very aggressive. Since they actually played the game I will take their words for it
I know a lot of people around the state think we are blowing smoke about where this Reidsville team stacks up. Glad you got to enjoy the game. Hope to see TVille back to their old ways soon
Looks like a tough game for the Cavs Friday night. Third round games should be tough! Time to see what our defense is made of.
Whatever happened to former QB/WR Alfonzo Miller for North Rowan? That kid was a handful back in the early 2000s.
....the 3rd round shouldn't be taken lightly by any team from anywhere no matter who it is or where they play....thanks for coming and the kind words! As a total team, this squad is very well put together and the depth at skill positions is really special. Although, this group hears a lot of nonsense about their schedule and being compared to past teams, I would put them with any team in the state this year..win or lose!!

I really don't know. His name pops up in the Salisbury Post occasionally when they show county stat leaders. He was fun to watch!
Do not drive to Lexington for BBQ. Short sugars has tremendous food for those coming into town for the game.
Andrews that played Reidsville Early in season was different than Andrews team down the stretch. They found an nice little kicker in a Hispanic kid midway through the season. He was pretty reliable inside 40 yards last half of the year. Booted a 36 yarder last night to give us lead with 3mins left before we lost it with under a minute to go. They also got rolling once they got settled after switching back offenses a few games into the season, as well as getting a few players back from injury. Andrews absolutely shredded northern Guilford in a scrimmage with all those variables above. Andrews also had 4+ turnovers against Reidsville which didn't help. Andrews was a decent/good team this year, whereas The Rams are elite this year and likely to win a state title.
For a team with so much rich tradition as Reidsville We have the worst concessions of any high school game I've been too and I've been going to Reidsville games for 20 years now. Hot Dog and greasy pizza are your only meat choices. Im having to sneak food in every game.Now for the big question. Do y'all have any good bbq up there or do I need to stop in Lexington on the way?

I'm a realist..Reidsville caught a break win Shelby went 2AA and any Reidsville fan that says otherwise is lying, but we don't mAke the brackets so we will play the schedule

Not sure what will happen but if North is a primary run first program, they're not going to score a lot. Just not gonna happen. Heritage averaged 300 plus yards a game. Held them 100 yds less than average and 30 pts under their average
Guys,North Rowan barely beat East Davidson and Lexington. Let that sink in your thick skulls. That isnt some 1 bad night scenario. I have seen both play. Reidsville will beat them like a drum. Count on that.
