Mitchell ahead of Murphy girls in updated maxpreps poll makes no sense whatsoever. If it was just a poll, no big deal, but when that poll is instrumental in seeding process, just have to smh.

I believe this might be the year SE Raleigh finally gets over the hump. I hope NW Guilford repeats but I just can't see it.

I think Murphy should've been ranked ahead of them from the start but with Mitchell's only losses being to McDowell and Mtn Heritage it was somewhat arguable I guess. That was until a loss to Madison took place, that should've sent them tumbling in the rankings, instead they somehow remain #2 in MaxPreps over a one loss Murphy team that played Mtn Heritage much closer than they did and would not have lost to Madison period.

South Stokes has beaten 3 of the top 10 teams and lost to Prep by 1. Not much love for them either.

Yes....they actually have 4 in top 6. 1, 4, 5, 6.

Also beat that same Mt. Airy team twice and lost to prep by 1 in other meeting. That's 3 of there losses and other losses have come to Mt. Tabor, North Forsyth, and West Stokes. And just beat Bishop for the 2nd time tonight.
