So far N. Wilkes is doing an outstanding job of shutting down Braelyn Stilwell. She’s the engine for the Lady Cavs. If you limit her, the others will struggle.
I'm sorry but she had minimal help tonight!I’m being as honest and real as I can with this post and I greatly dislike most things E. Burke High School, but it makes me sad to see Braelyn Stilwell foul out of her last game. She’s a great one, and deserved to be with her teammates out there fighting until the end.
We didn’t have anyone that could match up with her when they came to West Craven. She can handle the ball like a guy. I wondered while watching her if she may have grown up with 3 or 4 brothers and learned her ball skills from them. I may make the trip to Winston Saturday to take in the games.Gabby White #3 is heading to UVA next year.
Vik, are you going to be in Winston on Saturday to help Lake Norman ??Congratulations to North Wilkes girls. I was able to catch last part in internet radio
I’m going to try. I got some important things I got to get taken care of by Saturday. If I do get it done then I’m going. Could possibly be long time before before Lake Norman girls make it to a State Championship game again. I would hate to miss it.Vik, are you going to be in Winston on Saturday to help Lake Norman ??
Thank all those wonderful loud mouth parents and fans for the quality of officiatingThere is one working the West Bladen. Northwood game that was officiating middle school ball about 5 years ago locally. The pool must be small.
In the girls I’m definitely taking Lake Norman and North WilkesNow that the regional games are over, who does everyone have winning Friday/Saturday?
I think that is such a sorry excuse for why officiating is bad. The good officials don’t care what fans have to say. The issue in NC is that the pay is so low that it doesn’t make worth traveling, running up and down a court for 3 hours, and then getting home late in the middle of the week worth it. The NCHSAA has sorry assigners that do little to no training and the bad officials aren’t held to a standard and don’t have to take accountability for being bad.Thank all those wonderful loud mouth parents and fans for the quality of officiating
You're completely wrong. I know many long term, terrific high school officials who quit over the last few years for one reason; the abuse they were taking from the stands and on social media. All said they never worked as a ref for the money or the time commitment and understood the abuse that came along with the job. BUT, that abuse became exponentially worse, including being threatened online by moronic keyboard warriors, over the last few years. When I have to sit near some idiot screaming at official my comment is unless you pick up a whistle and get out on the floor STFU.I think that is such a sorry excuse for why officiating is bad. I’m seriously considering going. I’d like to watch the girls as well. I need to see if @SWE'98 will go with me.Greg come watch Reidsville
East Bladen finishing well early but I’m not sure they’re going to be able to dribble through the press all night.Good first half for E Bladen. Cherokee is playing a little reckless. They’ll settle down I’m sure.
E Bladen already looks a little winded.
thanks for posting scores it is really appreciated./Cherokee 49-37 with 3 mins left in 3rd
