SE Alamance wins 43-33 in their 2nd year as a school.
Congratulations to SE Alamance for 2A state title. With no seniors on the roster at that. Hats off to N. Wilkes for having a tremendous season. Unfortunately the 2nd half they just couldn’t get the shots to fall. I think like 4 for 22 on 3 point shots. Anyway great season for both teams
I was at the N Wilkes/East Burke game and NW celebrated like they had won the whole thing. They didn’t have the same fire today. What an accomplishment by a second year program with no seniors to win the title. Congrats SE Alamance!
I agree what I saw. NW just didn’t seem to have it today. If they could have had good shooting game they could have won this game.
Def was a rough game to watch. However, N Wilkes blew out all of their opponents in the playoffs with the exception of TW Andrews.
Congratulations to all the girls State Championship teams. Also hats off to all the other teams that played in the tournament. Another fun season completed.
Sometimes the other team makes it look that way. Southeast has done that the past 3 games that I know of. #3 does a great job running the offense and getting the ball where it needs to be. They been playing on the road and winning. Not easy to do.
I made a mistake in this comment. I thought this was #3 for Southeast Alamance when I made it. That is who gave us trouble. We didn’t play Seaforth. Southeast made sure of that!
I had a good time. Reidsville has been on a roll. Gonna have to see if they can do it again next year! Good to see you again Wes.
