Mt.Heritage @ Thomasville Rd 2

That's pretty good size, hopefully we will be ready, might have to adjust at first to the flow of there game plan, then hopefully we can make some key stops

Tommy's has every bit as good of a hot dog, lol. Plus they have a 100% beef hotdog if hotdogs are your thing. They have great barbecue, burgers, etc., all made in house. Brunswick Stew is awesome during the cold months with a grilled cheese or BLT, or even a club sandwich. You will enjoy either, Tommy's BBQ, or a Cushwa dog.

So I'll definitely go by Tommy's and save room for cushwa dog with red slaw thanks for the information guys!

How does this Mt Heritage team compare to the one in 2009 that went to the state championship?

Similar offense but the 09 team was much bigger and much more explosive. That team had the 2A state player of the year Casey Randolph who had over 3000 yards rushing for the season and the team overall set the state record I believe for rushing yards unless it was broken recently. That team was just flat out good but unfortunately ran into Todd Gurley and company of Tarboro that year. But, this years team runs the same offense pretty much, the run oriented spread, as they have 2 or 3 backs who get the carries, then the QB taking a lot of carries as well. They will throw the ball too. But, I think the 09 team was maybe 20 or 30 points better than this years team, but this years team to me is still solid but maybe a year away from being really good. They're young for the most part and will be bringing up some players from the JV teams if im not mistaken who have gone undefeated the past two years.

This team don't have the size on the lines that the 09 team had they averaged 280 on the line if I'm not mistaken. I would say skill wise the two teams are very close or better in some positions.

I didn't mean to discredit Tommy's (never been there), I just wanted to give credit where it's due, to the Cushwa Dog.

Thanks for the info mhhs16,we sure do have our work cut out for us,I don't care what the score may be as long as we have at least one more point than you guys lol

This sounds like it is going to be a good match up. Even though I am an East Davidson graduate, I always pull for the Bulldogs when my Golden Eagles get knocked out of the picture. Both teams have had successful years and it is a shame that someone is not going to be able to advance after Friday night. It has been great watching the Bulldogs turn things around after a down year last year. I just want to wish both teams the best of luck tomorrow night and congrats on a great season. Hopefully I can make it to the game.

Oh, no problem. Just to let others know theirs was good also and that they had other things if you wanted something besides a hotdog. Cushwa has the best hotdog I've ever ate at a high school game and I've been to quite a few over the last 35 years. I usually eat before a lot of games, but if it's early or I don't have time, I always get me 1 or 2 and sometimes bring some home for the misses, lol.

Mt. Heritage weakness is their secondary. Run defense is pretty good. I was very impressed with their offensive line when I saw them play. QB is a great athlete. Don't know anything about Thomasville this year, but if they have a passing game, I give the edge to them.

It's game day...praying for safe travels to all fans going to the game tonight...welcome to Bulldog country!!!

Oh one more thing that could decide the game. Heritage does not kick extra points. There ability to convert or not may decide the game.

I have not seen Thomasville play but based on what I saw last week versus MHHS and looking over the Thomasville's scores this year, MHHS will be in control of this game start to finish.

MH is by far the best team PG played this year. Much better in my opinion then HP Andrews.

T'ville has some very narrow wins against some very weak teams, but they are wins and thats why they play the game. Good luck to both teams.

MHHS 28-10.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, I don't see Mt. Heritage scoring 28 points on that Bulldog defense. Thomasville 21-14.

It will be interesting. I have to agree with Pride. Mt H was the best team PG has seen all year. That includes Andrews and Asheboro. Heritage is well coached and will be ready. I hope the Dawgs takes it to them. I just do not see stopping that offense. TVille will have to score with them to stay in the game.

Thomasvilles defense will be ready tonight just as they have been all year!!! Our offensive execution and play calling need to improve and we will win.

"You're Mountain" and they are not. You grow up mountain, you talk mountain, you eat mountain, you fight mountain, and you play mountain." One of my favorite speeches. Good luck to both teams. Should be a good one. Go Cougars

Don't forget, and you lose mountain!!!! Just messing with ya my friend...we know we have a tuff matchup tonight we'll just line em' up and play the game

Thomasville is 12 points from being undefeated and that defense is fast. They did not play a weak schedule. Most people do not know that Thomasville played the first three games without the starting QB and one of the best defensive players in the area, region, state. Will be a classic at Cushwa for sure. Will MH have an answer for the Dogs ability to cover up WR's and gang tackle. Can the Dogs defense stand up to the QB counter over and over again. We will see!

We have played more physical teams than people think. West Montgomery and starmount were very physical. Not to metion lexington because they played us very physical. Not saying they are More physical than MH but we have seen some physical teams this year.

MH - 16

T-ville - 8

It is amazing the amount of mistakes T-ville makes.
