Purely subjective here but I think the natural playing surface in the Pit is one of if not the best in the state. I agree. Tuscola played their final regular season game out there before moving to the WMAC in 2016, and I could not believe the condition of that turf, I had to go out on the field myself to walk on it. It must cost a fortune to keep that field in that condition throughout the entire season. I kid you not, it was just as good in November as it was in August and i dont know how they do it.

I played with two Shrine Bowl participants. I can tell you stats really do not matter. He is a prospect and a D1 commit. Thats what matters. Good kid. Congrats to the big guy
This game is just like the tuscola game. Throw out the records because they dont matter. The Panthers will bring everything they have as will the Bears. Just hoping for a injury free game and the W.
Said this last year..two solid programs..two good staffs...kids that expect to win...its always fun to poke your rival..hell there's 9 teams on both teams schedule that barely even knows there are message boards...
If I recollect a few years ago we ended up playing at Cherokee because the pit was nothing more than a mudhole.
Look for this game to be played either Thursday or Saturday. It's the biggest money game for Franklin this year don't believe they want to play it in the rain.
I can say w 99.9999999% confidence this game will be played friday night at 730 at the pit..no matter field conditions or amount of rain..this game will not change dates times or locations....and thats not FAKE NEWS

This would be a good place for the Bears to do an Ancestry DNA profile of the Franklin Coaches and the Refs. Remember, when the game starts, it is already 14-0 Panthers. That is just the facts when you go to The Pit. Just suck it up Pisgah and keep your head in the game. I take the Bears 28-14.
