The Blue Devils came out hot and stayed that way, but SI fought back to close to within 8 points points at the half. They could have gotten even closer with Mooresville punting outta their own end zone with 15 seconds left in the half. A missed FG by SI ended the half with Mooresville up 28-20. Both teams came back down the earth in the second half. The Vikings were shut out the rest of the way and Mooresville tacked on 10 points, with touchdown wiped out by a penalty, one of MANY calls that went against them. But the Blue Devils came to play and did one helluva job. Mooresville at Alexander Central next week.
