Maxpreps Rankings

Can someone please explain MaxPreps rankings? They have Meyers Park #4 in the country and Reidsville #53. In the state, they have Meyers Park #2 and Reidsville #10. I never was the best at math, but I can figure out when something doesn't add up

My best guess is they are different formulas. I feel like the national rankings are more human made.
