Luke Hoggard not to play?

Get Luke out of the game r we going to lose; Don't let pride get to you it will hurt in the end

Did we learn anything from the Scotland Co. game; I guess not
? did the backup QB drive the team down field right before half and score?
Oh dcov33 you better not talk about Coach Hoggard or his son. You better not talk about them bc it is not supporting your team.
Yeah you can play the blame game. You turn the ball over you sit down. #23 fumbled 4 time himself. That's up to the coaching staff to decide. If you keep putting him in, who is the blame?
Why is it hard to recognize Luke is NOT an option QB. Is he a good QB YES! However for the option system with an ankle sprain to add, gameplan should have been switched up. Just my opinion.

@ RaiderLaw who turned the ball over 8 times, it was evident he was not 100%
also I do not reside in Richmond Co., I'm not employed in Richmond Co., I do not pay taxes in Richmond Co., and I can say what the heck I would like to say; He should have pulled Luke before half, NUFF SAID! A lot of you guys will not say it but if Peyton Manning or Tom Brady would have turned the ball over they would have been pulled also

With 8 turnover we still had a chance to win the game or send it in overtime………….I'm not blaming anyone facts or facts. ? If a running back turns the ball over two-three times he is benched, why not R.C. QB…………………………..Again did the 10th grade QB drive down the field b4 the half and score or put us in position to score YES or NO!

Look we run the triple option the QB must be able to run and pitch the ball if he cannot the offense is ineffective
Please tell me you are joking! The RB's had at least 300 of those yards
.I understand you are part of the buddy buddy system. I will ride or die with the coach but if we have another QB that is just as effective as Luke and can RUN then its about winning not who runs the offense the Best. ? Raiderlaw and don't dodge the question be straight up with me, since Luke was expose by Scotland the offense has not been the same right or wrong
..Don't count last week because Luke did not run the offense last week. Let me let you in on a little secret, One of my closest friends that is in the Buddy Buddy club at Scotland High stated that Richmond will never win because they were going to take the pitch man away and Luke was not going to beat them with his feet! If they knew that why come we did not know that

I can remember reaching the 3rd round for about 7-10 years straight, I guess those days are over with. I am done posting for the year unless someone puts something stupid up here again, c u guys next year if its in the Good Lord's will, Happy Holiday's to everyone

...it's the same offense.....Scotland has a great defense.....and I don't remember paying any dues to the "buddy buddy club".....btw...it's funny you criticize the coaches at your convenience...lol...I think they were the coaches last week too....what part of 7 turnovers don't you get....and also....IF Coach Hoggard ever did leave see where the program goes.....sad that folks do not see what a good job he does.....
Which Raider QB has the higher upside?
They still have 2 more years with Hoggard and Zeigler. Which of the two looks to have the better arm, presence, height, speed, leadership, etc? That guy should be QB.

If I was that Zeigler kid, I would start looking for a new home if I wanted to play QB. He's going to get the same treatment Calhoun got and worse. All of a sudden, he won't be able to remember plays, He won't be able to read those fancy signs the coaches hold up. I won't even mention not being able to pass or even run the option as good as Luke. All of us should know that no one has a grasp of this complicated offense like the next coming of Peyton Manning. If I had to choose between the simplified "O" we ran last week and the complicated one we ran this week, I'll choose last week. Hoggard being the dictator that we know him to be, is going to play his son no matter how "Crappy" he performs. He showed everyone in attendance that he would rather lose, than pull his son. I feel sorry for the kids who are going to have to be subjected to this mess. Pitiful crowds, mediocre results are what they have to look forward to. Adults can just do something else, kids don't have that option. All of the fanboys, good ol boys, and administrators, incapable of doing their jobs won't change that. Later!
Outside prospective. I was in the area for work last night so I decided to go to this one. I have not seen either team this year and do not know anything about the players. I did do some homework about the teams before the game just so I would know what to expect and who I wanted to watch.
I sat on the home side and herd several fans making comments like fans do esp when it involves the coaches son, same stuff as on here.
Richmond's kids play hard, O and D. They are well coached,that can not be argued.
Millbrook #21 is tough to tackle and they are Big!!! 22 is a monster. 6-6 250. Millbrook capitolized on just enough and got away with this one.

...I'm sorry your relative who played for Richmond didn't have a good experience.......ALL of your post are transparent.....it's obvious you have a "personal agenda" against the current staff due to nothing but negativity spewing from you....maybe one day you will get over......
The staff may be great. However I personally believe they have run their course and it would be good to clean house and take the growing pains of a new staff.
The fan base is divided, attendance appears to be down, they can't beat Scotland, they can't advance in the playoffs, we seem to have a ton of injuries and so on.
None of this may be a problem reflective of the staff's ability or work ethics but to every time there is a season. This set of coaches have been in rockingham since 2000ish?

...will that staff bring some Melvin Ingram's, Danelle Ellerbe's, Justin Jackson's,etc with them....Millbrook had 7 D-1 power 5 players on there roster.....Richmond had none...our kids play hard and do what the coaches ask....even with 7 turnovers(not 8 because Millbrook fumbled one of those back to Richmond on the same play) Richmond had a shot at winning....you play with what ya got.....it seems the critics want to gloss over this point....the ole saying...."it's not the X's and O's it's the jimmy's and joe"s"
Thats never been an excuse before Law. Richmond has always punched people in the face with their talent. People think the talent pool is low at Richmond, I totally disagree. I just think the right talent is not being put in the right place.
lol...it's not an excuse...it's a fact.....we play with what we have got....and they play hard!.....the sidelines used to be crawling with scouts from D1 schools....they aren't there anymore......11-2 this year with this group is a great year.....
can say those Raiders literally left it on the field this season! Hard fought practices and games! I know everybody have better decisions on how the game could of been played differently but at the end of the day we all still have a job to do. No matter what happened yesterday we can thank God you are able to get up today! So parents please be more respectful when you talk to your kids about the game and players that did or didn't because they all are someones child! Seniors get ready to live your ultimate goal n thats to get yourself ready for that college atmosphere. Sophomores and juniors continue to put in work and get better on anything you feel lacking of so you will be ready to go next year! Again it was a wonderful football season and thank God we all still get to continue to enjoy life! God bless you all.....parents, coaches, fans and ect.
Law, I talked to a former college scout and his answer was that Richmond is not getting our kids qualified in the classroom so the scouts don't bother coming anymore. You can have all the talent in the world but you may not see a single scout.
I don't mean this a slap to teachers, etc. It is probably kids and parents or lack of but it really doesn't matter to the colleges. If you don't have the grades you are not going D1. The talent pool may be down but it isn't dry. We were not out manned last night.
We were out played only because we couldn't hang on to the ball and turning the ball over held no consequences for the players that did so. Not one was put on the bench for a series or two to get his head right and cover the ball up better. No doubt not one of the guys wanted to fumble but it kept happening. A little time of reflection and rest might make a difference. Besides it's not like we didn't have 5-6 running backs on the team.
