Who cares how much or little you win by. Survive and move on. I fully expect a shoot out with Reidsville winning in the end

When everyone gets tired of all the chest thumping and platitudes, here is a a fact to consider.

Simmons will have Reidsville favored by about 12 points.

And the Rams covered the Simmons spread all of the first 13 games this year and the N. Rowan game was a push, with the Rams winning by the predicted 17 points.

Now, tell me the numbers don't mean anything.
Unless you know Simmons like a brother and no disrespect to your opinion... I truly don't see it going that way by Friday...

Did Simmons favor us vs. Maiden? ( I don't know)
If so, then I will tell you that the numbers mean nothing.

Zuke. I agree. It will be a battle. No doubt about it. It will come down to special teams, who doesn't turn the ball over, limits penalities, line play.

Reidsville has done well in these areas. How are the wolves special teams

I'm not sure getting into a shoot out works in the rams favor. The rams have a good offense but I don't want to get in a scoring match with them

They are 13-1.
( sorry cap, that was too easy)

Kicking team is tired.
Punt team...honestly it's hard to say.
Return team is fast.

Same as Reidsville, I'd guess

My assessment is average ...we have made plays on special teams this year nothing outrageous...if I was to give an edge ...You guys would have it being honest...our kickoff team is more than capable of touchbacks every kick but somehow the coaches "try" and be creative and it gives up a lot field position at times...we've only punted 13 times all year...

I posted this on Carolina Preps ...

The NFL would have records for something like this ... if NCHSAA did it would have to be the two highest scoring averages ever to meet in a playoff game (or probably any game) ... 53.5 (Reidsville) vs. 50.6 (Lincolnton) ... wow.

According to NCHSAA record book ... MOST POINTS, SEASON (13 + games): 898, Albemarle, 2001 (16 games); ... that's 56.1 per game. Both these teams are close and I don't think there was a running clock rule in 2001. Reidsville's average is down probably 10 points because they had nine games shortened by the new mercy rule.

Yeah you must be delusional or you don't watch much football. Licolnton put up 36 last year and now they have even more weapons this year. You better have Alabamas Defense if you're keeping them from getting 24.
if this offense is so potent why is their a loss on your record...yeah our defense has played Alabama style defense as it relates to 2A football so get ready

Simmons may not get the spread correct everytime his picks are very accurate.
But he doesn't get it right every time. Yes his winning percentage is very good but not always correct. He is 82% right on the year and going into this week was wrong 436 times.

Because the other team scored more points!

It's gonna be in the high 20 degree range next Friday night..defenses tend to have the advantage in cold conditions

From the Salisbury Post:

"Reidsville's defense bent, but didn't break in several key instances that could have turned the momentum in favor of North Rowan."

Not a very Alabama-ish assessment, against a team averaging ~27 points per game.

"Dominate" in Rockingham and Alamance county, "bend-dont-break" against N. Rowan... you fill in the blank against Lincolnton.

Well idk about the alabama part. But North Rowan isn't a bad team.

I can see a trend starting to come up......one team is really confident that their defense will shutdown one of the most potent offenses in the entire state...bend but don't break aspect ...either or...then there's a really really good offense with all the confidence in the world that you have to stop them in their tracks to be in the game....like I've said...the weak schedule talk versus the you give up x amount of point talk is gibberish....point blank....WE'LL SHOW UP WITH OUR OFFENSE AND PLAY YOUR DEFENSE.....or one of y'all can go do the typical and pull the total team numbers on maxpreps for both teams and closely compare....You be surprised!!!

You might be on to something there. Cold weather is tough on passing games.
Our RB is just a couple of hundred yards off the mark set by the RB you saw in last years game. If we gotta run it, that'll be ok. But I think we will be ok with the temps. I remember it was cold when we played there the last couple of times.

That was a game Lincolnton still put up 47... Had nothing to do with the offense not putting up points. I bet y'all have Nick Sabens brother on the sideline too.

Get ready! Get ready! I can assure you we will try our best to do that. Alabama of 2a... Blah blah blah...

Who are you trying to convince, King? We know you are good. We know that it's not your fault your schedule was weak. We know that doesn't mean you aren't great. But good grief, man! im guessing you're what, 16? Looking for a job as a hype man? Better get ready!

I'm just ready for Friday. It's going to be a crazy atmosphere. Reidsville won 3 years ago Lincolnton won last year.

We shut down Trey Turner from Northwest Guilford who is a true D1 big time type prospect with single coverage you all don't have one receiver that scares us
I can see you are going to fun this week.
Seems like you keep trying to find an edge. Let me know when you find one.
Go ahead and shutdown ONE receiver.........maybe you should double or even triple cover that one receiver.

Lincolnton offensively is as good as they come, however, what is the deal with that awful defense? With all those athletes, what's the problem? Tackling, discipline, scheme?

If I were Lincolnton fans I'd be a little more concerned about that defense's lack of ability to stop any offense with a pulse on a consistent basis.
