Not sure yet on that one, I’m high on Clinton. I like what 04 has said and I just think they’re going to come together I’m not trying to jinx them but my gut is telling me they are the team to beat.

How does this year's WRH team compare to last year's team? Couldn't imagine it being better??

It’s early, so the obvious difference is defense approach. Cb’s are capable of guarding one on one, Lb’s and safety’s are aggressive, fast, and can read but still learning. Offense don’t have Kanye but we have a really good mixture of Rb’s. Young o line coming along great and can dominate d lines. More offensive approach with qb. He is very allusive and shown he can make better decisions when pressured. Kicking is solid. I’m thinking come playoff time we could be in a better position to guard against passing teams. More balanced team that should be able to run clock by not scoring so fast. We should be able to keep opposing teams defense on the field longer than last year

WRH has a system built for developing running backs. Everyone is familiar with Williams and Roberts but there have been some others that could carry the rock too. Canady, Glaspie, Wilson, Carr and Dalrymple to name a few. Some of those got a chance at D1. The offensive line play is usually excellent.
To win in the east you MUST be able to stop the run. WRH doesn’t get much opportunity to play against legit passing teams. Doesn’t mean they don’t have the athletes to cover but most of the games the corners are supporting run defense. I am very interested to see how they handle Leesville Road. Tall task for the men from Teachey but I am hopeful they perform well.

WRH will be tested in the secondary. I believe the coaches is doing a good job addressing coverage. The Dogs is coming into this game just like any other game to take care of business. Who cares about them being a 4a. You can’t put but 11 on the field at a time. I like WRH 35-21
Ok I know a lot of you people up here on the boards don't like northeastern but not having a quarterback hurts them a lot because they start receiver is now your quarterback he can't throw the ball to itself it's no excuse but it's the truth

James our program will get very little respect until coach wins a state championship. Schools like ED and Whiteville get a pass because of the so called Holley Tree.
No passes. They play a brand of football I’ve seen almost all my life. Holley tree started in Teachey in 82 and will live on for a foreseeable future.
Whiteville has at least one state championship. The 87 team led by the one and only Chester McGlockton was one of the best to ever take the field.
Yeah, he kicked the Bulldogs arse when we had one of the best teams ever. He controlled the game.
Leesville rd got a big 6’ 5” qb with a cannon. Rb that led 4a in rushing last year. Tall task Friday but as one has said “these dogs will hunt “

I think Wallace may hang in there for a while but don't see them winning this one. Leesville Road numbers will probably wear them down. But I may be wrong. And before anyone starts freaking the heck out I would feel the same way about any of us around here

come on 79, you have to be involved in practice to know if they are better at man coverage and they read better. You don't get that football knowledge sitting in the stands. You have to have some knowledge of man techniques and what the reads are for the secondary and LB's. Tell us the real truth. I'm new as you can tell, but you seem to know more than just a HUGE fan. Enjoy your incite, so thought you were closer than an in the stands coach.
I’m truely an observer. I do get some inside information. They shop in our store. I’ve seen a different approach on defense. Thanks for the compliment.
