According to a post on the Davidson County Schools page last week, and a rumor mill, head coach Jonathan Leonard will not be back next winter. He also served as the Asst AD at Ledford as well.

This apparently happened all the way back in January, he resigned from teaching but finished as coach.
That's what the article says.....I wonder how many basketball players Oak Grove has or will pull from the ledford area......
Not sure what that means? No one at Ledford would be leaving unless moving out of boundary lines
I did not realize Oak grove had it's own middle school....makes sense now. ledford lost a couple of really solid players to private schools last year....
Don't know what's going on with the basketball coach situation,but Ledford just won the Cushwa Cup for best overall athletic program in the conference. Of nineteen sports, they won seven and finished second in seven more. And playing this weekend for a state championship in baseball.
Congratulations to the Panthers! In Thomasville, we'd love to emulate that success.
Just read on Ledford twitter account that Jason Anderson has been named the Basketball Coach.
