In doing a little research of the H.O.F. coach....in his two terms as head coach (1992-2008, 2011-2022)....he won 339 games losing only 58...his teams won 8 state titles and were runners-up 2 other times....while coach's teams were recognized for their offense they were usually pretty darn good on defense as well....of Coach Teagues 339 wins....................95 were shutouts.....Rams fans salute you Jimmy...enjoy your "retirement"....................................

Hasn't fully retired ... he's still helping and is on the headphones in the coaches' box every Friday night.

Counting years at 3 other schools, his all-time mark is 380-111 in 37 seasons.
Every one of his Reidsville teams, except the 1999 team that went 7-4, made the playoffs and compiled an 80-19 post-season record.

Probably would have been more shutouts if he hadn't substituted freely in the fourth quarter of games.

We have great respect for Coach Teague.
He has been a great coach.

As mentioned, he is still involved. Probably more than most realize.

What we are curious to see is how Junior and the Reidsville football program perform when he is truly out of coaching.

Several of your own posters question the current staff. Will the success continue?
Or will history show that it was Coach Jimmy Teague’s mind and persona that drove and ensured the last two decades of success?
31 consecutive years from 1971 to 2001 of zero Championship appearances still puzzles.

Time will tell.

It did not take a long Time to tell.

You and fakedynasty are a piece of work. It took less than 24 hours for the two of you to start chipping away. This post was to pay homage and once more to thank a man of character for his leadership in the lives many young men and being a guide and example for them to not be, just good football players but, good citizens. This community certainly owes him a debt of gratitude. I am certain his time in the lives of these young men will be felt for years to come. Character vs “characters”. We know one from the other.
