We have looked improved, you can tell this is a different team that is headed in the right direction. QB looks good and we have some speed and athletes, from what you see in the scrimmage we will be competitive in a lot more games this year and i think a .500 or better finish Is not out of question. Are we the same caliber team WRH is? No we arent. We will win more than 3 games though.
Same to you. I expect Basden to have a great season. For us to have any chance Friday Avent will need to be frequently completing passes. I know WRH struggled a bit against New Hanover and their passing game. I do think JK will do a decent job of limiting the WRH run game but won’t be able to stop it.

Same breath for years? 3 years ago we beat WRH. The last team to prevent WRH from getting a state championship was JK. Yea we have been down the past 2 seasons but we have our rings that will always be here as well. For years to come? Sir that is ignorant. JK and WRH will always be rivals. Every rivalry has down periods look at history. This one is back on the upswing
Jk has as good a chance to win State this season as SWO does.... ZERO chance. We have been in the same conversation as WRH before and we will be again.
For the record I would love to see JK play SWO. I never said hang with, pretty sure my prediction was a 19 point JK loss. Yes I do think we will be more competitive this year but never expected or said I expect the game to be “hanging” in the balance with 5 left in the 4th quarter, of something of that nature.

Couple with 2,he should have had 3 against NH in jamboree. Receivers dropped 2 perfect passes in one half. Offense will be a little different this year.
I figure over time Mott will slowly transition out of the Wing-T. Never abandon it but definitely have a more balanced attack
Not go away from it just figured he may want to put more of his own brand of offense in place. I know WRH will be running Wing-T in 2056 more than likely. Just a thought he may attempt to add in some of his own ideas and use them with the offense that was already in place.
