ED picks them off and the Panthers are gunna win this one 21-14
Sloppy game by both teams. Tigers are for real. But ED with the win. Remember no excuses Tiger 21. I'm sure we may meet again
I think I said in the beginning, ED by at least 7. I really didn't think it would be this close but it was.

Bud there's a very good possibility that happens. JK has a very good big physical team. It's amazing to have 3 teams with a shot at the east within a rock throw of each other. Good luck

Huge play was the JK fumble on the goal line when they were already up 7-0. ED takes over and drives 98 yards for the TD, then runs a fake PAT for 2. I thought the ED defense settled down afterwards and played pretty well. JK has a lot of playmakers on offense, ran a variety of formations and was very good on defense.

JK had numerous false start penalties that kept them behind the sticks while ED had a couple of "hurdling" 15 yard penalties that negated big plays in addition to the roughing the passing penalty on a 3rd and 17 incomplete pass on JKs last possession.
What I saw last night does not change my prediction before the season. The three Duplin schools in the ECC will battle it out for the conference championship. All 3 capable of beating the other and all tough outs in the playoffs.

JK seemed to lose focus in the 2Q. May have been some of their better 2 way players needed rest of offensive side of the ball. Pre-snap penalties really hurt them and were all legit. #3 for ED clearly the MVP of the game and I felt best player on the field. JK couldn’t stop him even after they adjusted.
