So, Denson has Zero head coaching experience in football of any kind? Not even JV or Freshman & NO Coordinators experience of any kind. Why is he even being discussed then? Must have a Silver spoon & politics in order. No wonder that guy said this stuff was assinine.
Time to move on. I've heard some highly qualified names. Things should look up soon.

You're right, it's time to move on. It's time for Denson to move on too & earn his stripes elsewhere. I know some coaches on the current football staff that would do a little dance if Mr. I think I'm God's gift to Football would go someplace else.

Sir, I just wanted to take this off my chest cause my heart is heavy....really heavy. Anyhow Ben Bad, there is absolutely no question that what is wrong with competitive youth sports today are the adults! Not just the coaches of course, but some of the parents as well. I have met a lot of great coaches through the years. They're not all bad and I hope that I didn't imply that in this post. Much of what I've learned in sports has come from these great coaches! I have also met a lot of sane, sports parents, and some that are less so. It's the same coaches and parents that the kids need to be stewards of their games, NOT the less sane adults......

Mr.Swett, that's where this seems to get screwed up sir...these kids are gonna give 110 percent every Friday night and during practice. The adults are supposed to be setting examples... these kids need guidance and they will follow. When the adults can't act right the kids lose...in a big way... GO RAIDERS... I for one will never give up on these boys and girls win lose or draw...I don't re and fire...I'm inclined to support my alma mater since day on...Cass of 72 73.
Mr. Swett & Ben you're right, adults need to accept rules, play by the rules, & show kids the way.. In this day & age, it seems when someone doesn't get their way, they complain, whine, protest, loot, & plunder. In this case, when an adult doesn't like the rule they get their friends to put an ad in the newspaper. You knew what was expected. Accept it and move on. Go prove yourself somewhere else.

That's right Ben Bad. Too many Adults on the bleachers coaching the coach who coaches their kids. You know what's worse pa, that they Dont have one day of coaching experience. They thank by watching Sunday night football on the lords day is their way of saying "oh I know my X's and O's".

Gold, I guarantee you Brad Denson knew nothing of that ad being posted and has not encouraged a single email, telephone call, personal visit, or letter. Those who have made such contact have done so completely on his/her own will. That ad as well as the recent article in the paper came as complete surprises to him.
All I can say is you guys talk a lot of junk behind screen names. You spend your time downing a man who is well respected by his students and players. Your voices may be loud, but you are far outnumbered by those who support him - people who have supported that football program since 1972.
I suppose when more news comes shortly, you'll accuse Brad of being behind that, too.
If you know so much about hiring, firing, and making big decisions, announce your candidacy for school board.
Quit talking about someone with no experience like Brad and let's move onto people that can actually run the program.
News like the Super is giving in and letting Denson have an interview maybe? Someone that works in the office at RSHS said the Super was at school this morning, but Brad wasn't. They said he is on a Ski trip. They said everyone else at the school was involved in giving exams. Guess when you have political backing and put an ad in the newspaper you get special privileges. The masses are watching and waiting.

Sorry dude, but in education they have sick days, personal days, annual leave days, & holidays. If he is on a Ski trip, it would have to be a personal day. Since they are giving exams, seems highly unlikely a personal day would've been granted. That does lend credence to the special privileges comment.

Call it what you want - personal day, vacation day, whatever. I urge you to contact your source in the office for an exam schedule. If he had special privileges, the superintendent would have granted him an interview long before the community support started. You, king, and Daddy make it evident that you have a personal vendetta against him - not just an opinion that he isn't the right choice for the program.
I, for one, will be glad when they make a hire, because the banter is getting old.
Thats when the real fun starts. Half the county goes nuts after every decision made and starts the cry for the guy to get fired because he doesnt run the right offense, or doesnt have good enough morals or doesnt wear the right pants....Good times!!

Well...I maintain that I support the program...I have no say in hiring and firing...like I said, I was a junior at Hamlet High when we voted Green and Gold and I meant it...I'm not here to fuss... It's just SAD what's happened to our RAIDERS because of some not to good decisions...I go in peace.
