I know most are shocked that South Caldwell beat Hibriten, but South is pretty good
Hibriten tied the game in last minute went to double OT
Hibriten got up 13-0 then let South score 22 unanswered points…. Think a lot of personnel and people felt it was going to be easy after 13-0… I swear that I counted about 5 plays that South continuously ran all night and Hibriten made no adjustments!!
From the 1st quarter to about midway through the 4th South just wanted it more and put a hurting on Hibriten!!!!!

That conference is wide open. Hibriten, South Caldwell and Watauga all have a decent shot at winning it.
Hibriten might get the automatic bid for 3A teams but I don’t see them winning conference outright!!!!
Alexander Central and maybe even Freedom. Ashe is probably the only sure win in the conference.
I have seen Freedom and they are a step or 2 below the other teams I mentioned. Alexander Central could challenge but I don't think they have enough on offense.
