Mooresville will play Marvin Ridge Tuesday. My understanding is that Christ the King and South Point is still in it. More details later.

Thanks, I was trying to find info about who South Point was playing and when the game was. I will edit it in.
I’m not 100% sure, but this is my first memory of soccer being discussed. Glad to see it.
Marvin Ridge won 4-0 over Mooresville. Congratulations to Marvin Ridge who will play Ashley High in the 4A State Championship. Propps to Ashley who doesn’t get much recognition has a soccer and baseball team in the State finals.
Also great season to Mooresville for advancing to the Regionals for the 1st time in soccer history for the girls.

South Point/ND was a 1-1 tie after regulation and (4) OT's. PK's ended 7-6 for SP.
Pretty sure the S. Point/Hibriten game also went to PKs in the round before that.

Jacksonville your 3A Soccer Champs beating S Point 0-0. 3-2 in penalty kicks
Good game. Just hated that South Point came up short. But good run for South Point
Seaforth was tied with Pine Lake Prep 0-0 going into OT. After 9 rounds of penalty kicks Seaforth wins their 1st 2A State Championship with a 3-2 win. Congratulations to Seaforth

South Point will be really strong again next year and for the foreseeable future. Several factors working in their favor. Majority of production this year came from really strong sophomore and junior classes. This year they added Rich Lewandowski as their HC. He has coached most of these girls at the travel level since they were 8-9 years old. And most importantly their feeder Belmont Middle School has not lost since 2018, winners of 53 straight and outscored opponents this year 76-3.
