After watching the HPA JV's plus 4 or 5 varsity players beat the Tigers JV's....26-13 , I think I may have a
perspective on tonight's varsity game. If Randleman scores first , it could be an upset in the making. I spoke with some HPA people last night and they know not to overlook the Tigers. ( Remember last year )..anyway, I'm going out on a limb and say 21-20 Tigers.....

Andrews 34 Randleman 7, You score 34 points and you say Randleman payed great defense, think about it !!

Wasn't at the game but from a good friend who is usually pretty spot on. Randleman had a good game plan and it slowed Andrews in spurts. Andrews played very undisciplined with 2 turnovers, 1 in the Randleman red zone and also committed around 10 penalties for 115 yards. As McKoy said in the paper, a win is a win, especially 34-7 but definitely wasn't their best and have a lot to improve in the weeks to come. Andrews is nowhere near where they can be and will continue to improve each week in hopes they get a good draw and can make a run.

Distance.....Your friend was spot on.......It could have easily been a 7-10 point game....Both teams missed chances....Tigers just missed more

The final score doesn't indicate how close this game really was, Andrews was sloppy on offense with multiple fumbles and as usual a ton of penalties. Hats off to our defense because they made multiple stops in the red zone, imo our defense won the game.

My son played for the Tigers Friday night.....He did say, the Andrews players played hard, played to the whistle and there was very little "trash talk" on the field....Also, during the handshakes after the game....both teams had classy comments for each other....Good Luck guys

despite the demographic differences between the 2 schools, I have noticed a sense of respect over the last 5 years or so between the 2 programs. i think a lot of that has to do with the 2 head coaches. good luck to both teams the rest of the way.
