Has Crest petitioned the NCHSAA to move game?

It is well documented that the field at Concord high is unsafe and unfit to play on. With all the rain this week, that field will be the worst it has been. The NCHSAA has the authority to move the game to another location such as the AL Brown field. Concord would still enjoy all the profits and local support. I think it would be much better for all parties if the game is moved.

It's being moved to the turf field at Stuart Cramer near Belmont. The issue is that Cramer doesn't have enough folks to work the game on short notice. South Point is sending over volunteers from the Big Red Booster Club to work the game and will split the proceeds with Concord.

NCHSAA has been notified and is sending a Rep out tomorrow to check Concord field. If it is deemed unfit then a neutral location will be found. 2 local schools have already been contacted about field availability. My understanding is that one of them is more than happy to host the 3AA West Regional Finals.

The South Point Band are protesting because one of the coaches told the Dumasses to stop playing while our offense was on the field and they got some feelings hurt!

The SP Band CD will be played at the KM/SP game. The actual band will be at Cramer for the Crest/Concord game. They voted unanimously to wear green and gold even though Concord is officially the home team.

Concord field, atmosphere, concessions, turf and general surroundings are much better than Crests. No kidding...no trolling. Crest has a terrible atmosphere and experience.

NCHSAA don't move games unless the home team request. That doesn't usually happen but has this year with a Maiden game. Both teams will be on the same conditions. It's no excuse for a loss.

If I were Concord I would practice every day on that field and make it worse. I would move the sleds over there as well. Maybe bring in a pack of mules and plow the damn thing. Turn on the sprinklers every night after 12:01am. Have tractor pull come from Diet Cherryville on Thursday.

I'm not sure what "hot" means in Shelby... I'm assuming she's got a full set of dentures. 50 hours a week, that's impressive. If you wanna earn some brownie points, tell your boss you're free to punch in a few extra hours on December 12th. because Crest is leaving Concord with an L and their tail tucked between their legs. Yea, I'm real nervous. You figured it out. I had forgotten about SP, I can't remember the last time they beat us. You just try an win the loser bracket, leave the Big Boy Bracket, to the Big Boys. Study up the 2a bracket, that's where you're headed, and soon the doors will be locked and you'll be wearing purple.
