So hard to see her down clutching her knee in pain. Not sure of extent yet, as coach said cautiously optimistic. Over last 20 years watching girls play can’t tell you the number of ACL injuries I’ve seen.

This is from Bryant Roche Greensboro news. We published a bit ago that she was “day to day” during the HAECO. Didn’t play in the finals game against Greensboro Day, can’t say beyond that. Team had yet to release anything’s else yet.
Not likely to play today when Bishop plays Charlotte Independence in the John Wall tournament. Independence has Kamryn Kitchen who along with Jernigan and Katie Sears of Watauga are generally considered the top 3 juniors in the state. Great experience for Bishops young players regardless of outcome.

I personally think the large number of ACL injuries comes from playing too much basketball. I wish Jernigan a speedy and full recovery.
