Grimsley has now played what I believe are the best three teams in the state: Rolesville, Hough and Weddington. Junior QB Faizon Brandon in those three games: 28 for 40, 611 yds, 8 TDs, 0 Ints. Only one interception this year. Many implied he was underperforming but when your RB has over 2200 yds and 47 TDs and big early leads over most teams, the need to pass was constrained. When the game gets big, the Faizon Lazer becomes deadly and accurate.
