Mrbud I respect your football.expertise but Brevard.had 2. Ya 2 first downs at Hetlrtige last Friday night it will come down to Reidsville and Heritage ..in the West in 2a and Mitchell will.play either Murphy or Robbinsville. and if Mitchell can beat Heritage this year Murphy.or Robbinsville want be now problem .if you don't belive me ask any Mitchell fans whos been better team Heritage or murphy last few years if they say Murphy there lieing but most Mitchell fans call it as they see it ..Murphy has not had the defence Mountain Heritage has had last few years ..not saying Murphy is bad or nothing but they only have to usually beat 2 decent teams to win championship in 1a let them step up.to 2a and see what happens to them Reidsville would have stomped Murphy last year and Murphy has over 500 students pound for pound Robbinsville is the best team in the state ..

Let me get this out son, brevard was best team in mtn 6 last year, only reason bears beat them was because quarterback got injured, tired to play should have stayed out
Bro, you could be right about mh, their defense is strong , jury out on their offense but brevard is dang good on defense. As for 1a football murphy is the king, best offensive line in western nc this season, that's why I pick them to win state.
What seems to be your deal with Brevard? I don’t think Mrbud was talking about how the 2A West was going to shake out. I believe he was discussing the Mountain 6 Conference. You seem to like to get your subtle jabs in on the program every chance you get. I don’t think there is any poster on this site that feels Brevard is on the same level as Mountain Heritage. Mountain Heritage is the standard for 2A ball in the mountains right now and they have been for the last few years. Joey Robinson is a hell of a Coach and I don’t see Heritage slipping anytime soon. Just remember though, Brevard has not played with a full deck since 2005. That community got gutted when the plants closed and the demographics of the town changed. Remember this is their 4th coach since Essenberg left. They may never be the program they once were but at least they are respectable again.

I know how good Brevard is I was just surprised that the Blue Devils could not move the football. Brevard hit our defence on 1 ,56 year pass for a TD .I for one knows the History of Brevard football program .I've got nothing but respect for them and there fans.Brevard should have won the West last year.they had Reidsville on the ropes .if max preps stats are correct Heritage had 300 yards to Brevards 126 The difference in the game was Heritage held the football for 31 minutes to Brevards 17..Mountain Heritage had big time trouble pass blocking vs Brevard, but we can run block and like Coach Robinson said after the game. we got to find what will work for us and then just go out and do it.Heritage lost all but 1 starter on offensive line from last years team ,plus we lost all 3 starters on defensive line from last year .Heritage only has 10 seniors out of 42 varsity players this year..our team is young and will have some ups a downs ,but as long as Joey Robinson is our coach Heritage will be fine...also if I had to bet I would say Brevard will have a good chance of winning MT 6 conference they defence is outstanding and they have wesponson offence.Also they have a top notch coach I don't know him, but he's building a program at Brevard again he's turned them around fast and they will only get better in the future....
Guys here is the deal in Canton, people in canton have lost interest in pisgah football only game that matters is tuscola because ticket drawing notice no one talks about pisgah football anymore was in sylva other day people were actually talking about the mustangs. Posters on this board would never admit this, dont believe go to one of their games home side is half full.
We had more fans at the jv game last night that a lot of teams have on Frday night. Our stadium seats 12,000.Just guessing I would say 7000 on the home side so half full which is another mrdud lie would be over 3500 .We will have more than that most game.The only time I have seen home side half full is in really cold or rainy weather.So just another lie .Now for Owen 98 ,we want miss you.
