Panther you just make sure you don’t leave early Sat when Reidsville hands you your 0-2 title game record, maybe you can see what’s it’s like to lift a State Championship trophy, then you make make your way back to DC as the only team and fans from DC to never win a title 😂😂😂😂

You'd think we were playing Wallace again this Friday with all this "talk" lol. I say we move on to focusing on this coming Saturdays game cause its gunna be tough. We had to play extremely well to beat Wallace, and id say we gotta be dang near perfect to pull it off Saturday.
With players like the Avery kid you will have a shot, he’s a winner.
I want to compliment the referees in the WRH/ ED game. Best called game I’ve seen. Few but true penalties called and some nitpicking they let go. They let them play. They were quick, accurate and decisive. Some credit goes to both teams for quality competition. To me,it only could have been better game if my dogs would have won
Honestly I think ED will be able to run in Reidsville, this is the ONE time I think the east is better off running because they are not seasoned enough to pass on this defense anyway. Even the pass happy west bracket had to make sure they were deadly accurate to pass on this team. If you under threw or missed your target by 3 hairs, it can get picked. They use their receivers as DB's which makes for a great secondary.
Again it's about matchups. Reidsville is deadly but ironically they are easier to run on than the half the west bracket. That said, their coaches will be hard to beat and have them prepared.

True. i heard Otis say he hadn’t seen those officials before. I thought to my self that may be a good thing. That was two good coaches there that had their teams prepared, with no panic when things were not going their way.
How about that Chopper I actually agree with most of your post. If we can move the ball and eat the clock we got a chance. All those passing teams sure didn't work out to well against them

That's only because they focused on their 2ndary, and they can be pass happy themselves. Good receivers can make good DB's often times. I suspect they built that defense for Shelby, who stood them up lol.
But you still can't be one dimensional in most cases. It's just a chink in their armor, doesn't mean you shouldn't be pass happy under normal circumstances. Balance is key. If your QB is accurate and can run, you can still pass and make their defense work harder. If I was ED I would take advantage of a big tight end if they had one.
They still might stack the box, so it's important to be good at throwing, which most run teams out east are not. Run teams out west are still good at passing because they have to be, and can't afford not to.
your run D is bend and not break, which is fine, but again your coaches know how to defend those wing, pitch, dive offenses anyway. If ED mixed in the spread and ran it like East Surry ya'll would be in for a game.

Your paraphrasing sucks, I said a good running team, who's not used to throwing, has a better chance running than trying to pass. That said, if you're good at passing I would still pass if your QB is good, it's just a little more of a challenge. Either way balance is key and you have to take what's given on both air and ground.
The more I learn as the week goes on Goob the better I like our chances!!!!
yeah play really really really good defense and pass ACCURATELY when throwing, and you have a shot.
