Yal were ahead 24-21, had the ball on our 10yd line with 4min left. Yal fumbled, next play we scored on a 90yd td pass. Leading 28-24, we intercepted a pass in the waning moments and ran it down to the one yd line. Tacked on the td and won 35-24. It was a game we were fortunate to win.

The one thing that I like about this discussion question is that the ED fans and the WRH fans have been pretty civil this week. No disrespect from either fan base.
It wouldn't take much for that to change. I must admit I like it this way too.

Strange you ask. Did Dog79 put you up to it? I texted him this morning and told him I dreamed about this game last night. Everything ED tried to do would backfire. It was 48-0. We were sitting in the stands discussing how weird it was the mistakes ED was making. I don't think I even went to bed thinking about football. I was on call last night and I remember hoping the phone wouldn't ring. But there is no way that happens to either team. Both teams are so well coached. Both teams are great examples for how you should want to be. I think 3 points will decide this game. I'm wearing my bulldog hat. I enjoy sitting with Johnny and I really like Kevin Motsinger. So that sways me a bit. But Battle Holley is a freaking legend. I can't knock him one bit.

No, hadn't talked to John today. I did re-watch the reg season game on nfhs this am. I've decided special teams may have imput. I'm feeling good about my dogs winning tonight, unlike the first time. A td at the most.
All week everywhere I been people been talking about this game. Even know I guy got his building set up with big screens and people coming from both sides. He calls it his Duplin County Superbowl Party.

I called olddog couple weeyago and asked him to help me get 99 fired up and olddog said it shouldn’t be to hard but we decided not to. Got to give it to ED fans this time they act like they belong
I doubt it. I usually get there early especially for big games, for the parking and to get my usual seat on the top row.
From a fellow ECC fan, I want to congratulate WRH and ED on fine seasons. I can remember back when the East playoffs was almost all ECC and the East championship between SWO and East Carteret. The ECC and Duplin county will go to the 2A title game. Wish I was there to watch this one. I do have my thoughts but really think both have an equal chance. It would be great for ED to get their first ring and make the ECC " Title Conference" of NC. SWO, WRH, JK, North Lenoir, and ED.

We had 2 timeouts, WHY ON EARTH DIDN'T WE USE THEM TO TRY TO PUT AT LEAST 3 MORE ON THE BOARD as Wallace gets the ball to start the 3rd Qtr?????????
