First year coach at SL is struggling to move the ball on offense, and their defense isn't stopping anyone. The Stallions are in similar state, as they have only won one game on the season. SWO gets their first conference win of the season 41-12 over the Blue Devils.
North Lenoir @ East Duplin
NL coming into this game after upsetting (19)WRH in Lagrange last week 18-15. The Hawks has turned their season around after an 0-3 start. ED comes into this game after a bye, and it's going to be interesting to see how the Panthers respond after their loss to Kinston 52-22 two weeks ago. The Hawks has proved me wrong these last three weeks, so it's difficult for me to pick against them again. But I think the Panthers will come out clicking on offense and will overwhelm the Hawks 38-16

The red hot Vikings is on a five game winning streak, and is undefeated at the top of the ECC. Their halftime adjustments has been the difference during this winning streak, especially on defense. JK comes into this game destroying anyone, and anything that's in their way. This game will be a mid-season exam for the Tigers 🐅. Whose defense will take control of the game will be key. Somebody's conference 0 has to go! I think the Tigers will ace this exam 35-6.

Credit Kinston played a good game had a chance at the end. Showed they are definitely a team to watch out for

I was shocked when I saw JK-Kinston score. I expected JK to win by 2-3 TDs. Went back and watched the game on NFHS, and it looks like they should have. Got to Kinston 10-20 on their first 2 possessions and didn’t get any points, then on their third possession they fumble on the 1 yard line and Kinston takes it 99 yards to be up 7-0, when the score could easily have been 21-0 JK. From that point on it looked like JK dominated the game. Kinston never got close to stopping them and they played solid defense against a tough passing game. Still think JK is at least 21 better than them

Yeah we were shooting ourselves a lot last night. I'm glad we won, Kinston is much better than I thought. I see your Panthers wasn't playing around last night. They took it to North Lenoir, great win to get y'all on the right track heading into these final three weeks.

yep not taking anything away from Kinston. They are really good. Will be a tough out and I think clearly 2nd best in ECC right now. I just think JK really tough this year. But yep That’s more like the ED team I expected. Still wouldn’t put us in JK or Kinstons league but I’d say we showed we can still contend. Looking forward to the last 3 weeks!

East Duplin still is good enough to make noise in the playoffs... Right now it looks like northeastern and JK and whiteville are your top three but ED Kinston wrh and NL if could have a nice day in the matter... It kind of reminds you a little bit of 2013 where Wallace rose Hill surprised everyone and made it to.the Eastern finals against James Kenan... (Pretty much it's anyone's title in the East this year)

Not gonna lie, I’d like to see a DC bus arrive in Elizabeth City for the first 3 rounds Teams like SE Alamance and Washington would worry me more this season. In past seasons I’d agree though.

If you say so, other than JK, who has Whiteville played? Judging from their schedule, they have blown out many teams that don't appear to be very good. But they did take JK into OT so I guess they could have a say but I still say the East will most likely go to NE this year.

I think Whiteville's defense is much better this year than last year. It was hard to tell on the offensive side of the ball because JK defense is much better.

This Kinston team is not the same Kinston team that you faced the last time. They are coached up good on offense, and they have athletes with speed. Kinston problem is stopping the run on defense. But they are improved!

Honestly Goob is right this year, especially if NE is as good as I think they are. And I mean this as no disrespect to JK but our conference is extremely down this year, Its JK and then ED, Kinston, NL are running a very distant 2nd. WRH could get back into it and they wont just roll over. That being said an Eastern Championship is the ceiling for any of the east teams. No one is beating Reidsville.
