I'm not saying he's not athletic, but from what I have seen, he is a big kid with a strong arm and not superb lateral quickness. Hard to tell from film about speed.

I've read some scouts say he has very good and surprising lateral quickness, you notice this especially in basketball
Cool. I’m sure you have a better handle than me as I have never seen him live. I’ve only watched the films I can see on line and realize most are very positive highlights. I wish him all the best as I have met Mark and he is all class. I hope he kills it and cashes in with the NFL.
I got to watch most of his basketball games last year as well as his football games, I didn't realize just how athletic he was until I watched him play basketball
Dont get me wrong hes an D1 athlete. Hes gonna b better than 90% of the players he face in HS...but going 2 Alabama he better not try that "lateral quickness" too much vs LSU or Clemson. There's 6ft5 300lb guys jus as fast as him on his heels.
There's 6'5 300lb guys just as fast as 99% of D1 QB's if not faster
