My son screen shotted a couple of tweets that showed Wilder and Haney mentioning Spence looking drained, and they should run it back at 154lbs. Could have been a factor, but I’m not buying it as the sole reason. Bud just outclassed him last night, and should go on to fight “Boots” Ennis next.

Same here. So take some retirement time and watch the game. ED ran right at the big freshman DE all day long. ED has some of the best coaching in the state. Found the weakest, during the week up to the game, and executed it perfectly........
I spoke to a group of ED fans after the game. They knew this had to be their year. One speculated they may make third round at best.
I can agree with that. ED will be very young this year and anything above the third round imo would exceed expectations. In 2 years they will be serious contenders again for a 3 to 4 year stretch. My opinion Anyway
