Here's an idea. Call the Rockingham County Schools and maybe they can help you understand. Office is in Eden.Mule, I’m sorry to argue with you but it’s impossible. No school in the state retained that high a percentage of their students. You’re talking 150 kids at a very small school. In fact , Many schools relaxed their retention standards and no one was held back during Covid.
Where did they put all the new 6th grade students that came up from the elementary school? As well as the rising 7th and new 8th graders. Were mobile units (trailers) brought in? How many new teachers were forced to be hired with money that doesn’t exist to cover the 33% increase in enrollment ? I’m fascinated by this! Here's an idea. That’s BS and you know it. They each played 3 years of middle school football (illegal in NC) then entered high school as redshirt freshman I guess. Please do not pass this off as anything more than it was.
No. Covid year. The eighth grade class did not get enough days in so had to repeat a year.

It’s funny you said that. They literally have mobile trailers outside holding class lolWhere did they put all the new 6th grade students that came up from the elementary school? According to the NC Middle School Athletic Manual students have six consecutive semesters to play all sports except football. Football is four consecutive semesters since sixth graders are not allowed to participate. The key word is CONSECUTIVE. They played their 7th grade year. No one played the Covid year, then they played the next year. I’ve never been great at math but that’s 6 semesters they played football.Incorrect. There was no middle school football the 2020-2021 school year in Rockingham County.
I’d said 90% of schools in southeastern NC have mobile trailers that hold classes. It’s funny you said that. They literally have mobile trailers outside holding class lol
I'm actually saying they "all" may have been granted a waiver to play sports since there was no middle school sports during the Covid year. I would find that more plausible than the idea that half the 8th grade was retained because of attendance.A few kids is different than the entire 8th grade, lol.
Yep. And even those that fell off the face of the earth were predominantly pushed through.I'm actually saying they "all" may have been granted a waiver to play sports since there was no middle school sports during the Covid year. There were no attendance rules enforced anywhere that year. The only way anyone failed in school that year was if they fell off the face of the earth and did absolutely nothing through virtual school. Please note: some did.
Any update?Hearing he might be out a few weeks. Possible collarbone injury during 7 on 7 today.
Any update?
Those that know people suggest he might miss at least 2 games. Not sure exactly what the ailment is
Heck....didn't realize 7 on 7 was so damn dangerous....perhaps players need to wear shoulder pads during this stuff....when you go up for the ball and crash to the earth with nothing protecting you....this kinda injury is just waiting to happen...........
that's probably to just start practicing again...also figure in at least 2 more weeks...to get the proper time (NCHSAA rule) to start playing in a game...so may be first 3 or 4 games...depending on severity of injuryHearing 4 to 5 weeks from time of injury. Similar injury to Flip from my understanding.

Lots and lots and lots of depth at WR and Corners. You are going to really like Jones and Sharpe.toughest part of the Rams schedule is up front of the season as well....take a couple of losses there ...and it will be "hit the road Jack" come playoff time.........
Edited to note that no one is better in the secondary at anticipating and reading QB and WR passes than Neal. He is a very special defender and most importantly he is a team leader. Hopefully, he will not miss many games because of his collarbone injury.Lots and lots and lots of depth at WR and Corners. You are going to really like Jones and Sharpe.

Maybe not because page will not throw the ball against us after seeing the recipe to beat us. We should be able to manufacture enough points even if he can’t go. I pray he is back though.Would need him vs page

Well I think we all want him back. Who wouldn’t except for the opponentI mean I think we would still win. But I’d love to have him as a playmaker in that game

Page has lost a lot. Several coaches have left and some are on our staff. Hearing several players left. Even heard rumors Coach Rob considered the Morehead, but it's his son's senior year. With that being said, I think he'll have his team ready.
